Why Can't I Get Spare Batteries For My GPZ 7000?
auminesweeper replied to nvchris's topic in Minelab Metal Detectors
I would Hate to think what that Battery for the ZED Costs,, The Battery for the GPX here Is Over $600.00 USD and about $810.00 ASD, Times these prices by 1.56 USD and you will see what I mean. auminesweeper replied to Steve Herschbach's topic in Rocks, Minerals, Gems & Geology
Yeah Steve I have used those ChainSaws they Have Oblong straight Diamond Teeth on them about the size of those on A 3/8 Chainsaw including the Raker, They Are powered by Water and The Chain is cooled by Water and are powered by about A 7.5 HP Motor and an Inch+ water combined water Pump, At work we Had 3,,, 2 were stolen within the first 6 months they have about a 24 to 26 inch bar on them and sound Like A Quiet MACK Air Start, somewhere I still have some of the old Chains, I was using them to Cut rectangular holes in concrete Walls For Drainage. I was using them Back in 2004 John Here ya Go, http://www.icsdiamondtools.eu/products/890f4-hydraulic-powered-concrete-chain-saw/ http://www.chainsawjournal.com/buying-a-concrete-chainsaw/ Heres the cost of the Chain In the US. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000KA8DZY/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B000KA8DZY&linkCode=as2&tag=chainjourn-20&linkId=5W6AYQCZ6RNNZEBD -

Tailing Pile Mineralization?
auminesweeper replied to auminesweeper's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
So They can be more complex than I thought Then, So you have to decide with whether they are high or low mineralized and High or Low Trash and everything in between and A Combination of all the Above, So it would be best to check them out with A VLF and if they are High Reach for the PI right Away, Thanks for the Great Info, There is A few thing that I had not taken in to Account, John -
Tailing Pile Mineralization?
auminesweeper replied to auminesweeper's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
Thanks for That Steve, So The Mineralization of Tailing Piles will always be relative To The Ground from where they came from, Unless they are made up of Quartz, I was and No doubt others Too, Were under the impression That the Tailings were more of A Free Ride, Thanks for Clearing that up For me, John -
Steve, Can you explain why Tailing piles are lower in mineralization compare to other areas, And would the Tailings at place's like Moore's Creek be Hotter than The Tailings Ganes Creek, What Cause's them to be Lower than the general Detecting Areas is it Because they are made up of disturbed Ground?? Thanks,,, John

Well I have the 14x8 Concentric for my GMT and it is not as hot to Small Bits As The 6x10, Which I found Odd because My Bigger coils for the MXT see Bits on the surface down to 0.03 grams / Half A grain or just under. But the GMT's 14x8 Does not see them even with the Higher Frequency, So If you use the big one always keep your 6x10 real close because I have not got the Faith in it as of yet, john

A lot of the guys that use to use them were on Steve's old AMD Forum and about 70% of them have gone missing Try Here, hope this helps, john http://www.akmining.biz/forums/archive/index.php/t-21651765.html?s=d3f0b21da285918b5537d024d8d6b0fe http://www.akmining.biz/forums/archive/index.php/f-61765.html?s=d3f0b21da285918b5537d024d8d6b0fe
