This is a VX3 ,,,,not the V3i

Too steep of a learning curve for my simple mind, I have an MXT and would like something close...... I like all the info on the MX7 and MX sport....would like one of them I think.

The only reason I chose the MX Sport was the DD coil...........I will sell the VX3 or trade if the deal is good. Lots of goodies with it , 2 coils , 950 and 10x6 , wireless head phones (whites) , 2 recharge batteries plus AA batt case. and carry case keeping the 4x6 for my MXT

Took the VX3 out in the real world today , not happy with the machine, too jumpy too many hits but not repeatable . Wish I had got an MX 7 or MX Sport...I think I would trade if I had the chance.

The weather got nice here so I did a little testing in my yard , I took all my coils , compared them as to strength of hit, ease of use and best signal..... Seems n my soil the D2 won. Now to try it in the fields.

Working on understanding Mixed Mode.....and waiting for it to warm a little so I can go test it at a location that I have found coins before....found them with an Explorer XS , then found more with MXT , now want to try the VX3 with the 13 " ultimate coil

Been detecting a long time , first detector was a Relco. I want to hunt coins, I have an MXT , eireka gold , and a gold bug plus a gold monster. I got several coils for the VX3....4x6...6x10...950...and 13 ultimate. Also have 2 recharge batts. and wireless headphones plus a case to put it in. Lots of info to digest for this machine....I got a test garden....works great there.

The mail delivered my VX3...put batteries in it and took it to my test garden....wow , blew me away.....tried it with the 950 coil and 6x10 coil......waiting for my ultimate 13" coil . I got a couple of hunted places I want to try. So far....VERY HAPPY . I have an MXT but this is a different critter for sure.

I got tired of waiting for the Equinox so I just bought a Whites VX3....works for me and I can hunt now.

Thanks for the info Steve , I just pulled the trigger . ordered a VX3 with 3 coils , Stock , 6x10 DD , and 4x6 DD. Used machine but only a few times. Getting better after my fall, will be 62 in few days.....falls while hunting alone in the desert scare me.....

Depressed me too , I am looking for a coin machine and now I am starting to look at other brands. Whites V3 , V3i , VX3 all interest me as does the MXT Sport.

I will look at the MXT pro, I have a GPX4500 , a GM1000 , A Eureka Gold and A Gold Bug. Plus the MXT.... Thanks for the opinion and suggestion....Got to sell the other machines now .

Has anyone used one of these machines in AZ, I went to my local dealer and was told the V3i was not good in AZ, I should get a F75.... Wanted some other opinion on using one in AZ, I live in the Kingman area and want to hunt coins. I have an OLD MXT and would like to get a newer , top of the line coin hunter. Tried hunting gold but due to leg damage I have trouble walking in the dessert . Took a bad fall a couple of days ago , bruised some ribs. Made me think I need to hunt for coins, tot lots nd such. OK , 'nough of my crap . Any opinions... Thanks

I was told by a sales person in the local detecting shop that the Equinox would be out on the 1st of March. Hope it is true , then we have a time line to wait....I was asking about a coin machine and was told it would be out the 1st of March and I should wait for it to arrive......

I have had mine sound off on bird shot when detecting. Helps me find small lead faster too.

I saw the Equinox hit a wheat penny on edge placed under a large iron bolt...sounded off nice. Not sure about in the ground.....this was just part of the demo at an Outing here in AZ I was at on the 18th of Nov.

I have a GPX 4500 and a GM1000 . Was joking about location . Those are some nice ones. Sooner or later I will find my first one....then watch out .

Got out to hunt coins today, I used my PRO FINDER 35 to pin point, sure made finding my targets in the sand a lot easier. All my targets was non-magnetic so no report on the ID mode.
