  1. Steve, will if detect gold as small as .3 gram? Maybe with the 5"x10" or 3"x7", if not the 14"?
  2. Thanks Steve. I went ahead and picked up the Infinium. Got the detector with a straight shaft and S rod, land and water headphones, 2 rechargeable battery packs, wall and car charger, and a belt pouch for using it on your hip for $640. I guess that was a fair price for it.
  3. Getting a Garrett Infinium PI unit from a fella. Is the Infinium a decent nugget hunter? Never have used a PI machine so it will be a new experience.
  4. Yep, i noticed the name similarity when i first got ahold of you. Hope to send you some pics of gold nuggets found with it. Thanks again.
  5. Wanted to thank Steve and Roughwater for their advice and to thank Roughwater again for that link. It turned out to be a good deal. G2 arrived today and appears to be a good one.
  6. Roughwater, i know what you mean. I have been buying and selling on line for years now and for the most part the deals went well. But there are getting to be Far Too many scammers these days. One good thing is using Pay Pal. At least i have their guarantee of receiving the item. And yea Oregon isn't a bad place to call home.
  7. Well, i just made a deal with the guy with the G2. Hope it turns out to be a good one.
  8. Steve, which do think is the better deal then, The MXT with one coil 9.5" Whites pin pointer, and headphones or the G2 with 2 coils, the 11" eliptical and 5"round DD's and No headphones? G2 is 2 1/2 years old.
  9. Would you recommend the 6x10? I was thinking about the 4"x6". Go with the larger one or maybe look for both?
  10. it is about a year old. Also, i live here in Oregon, so no matter how old it is if i take it up to them in person they have always fixed them for me.
  11. Roughwater, Thanks for the link. I sent him a message about it. Kinda Leary about buying from someone with no feedback on the other side of the Country though.
  12. Thanks. I have been detecting for quite a while so i know the difference between models. This Was the Gold Bug digital but unfortunately, it already sold. So now i have a MXT and the Fors Gold to choose from unless i want to wait for another GB to come up for sale.
  13. Thank you very much Steve. I may have found a Gold Bug for $300. Still waiting to hear back from the seller. Found it here in the classifieds but it has been there a while. Hopefully he still has it. Thanks again.
  14. Of these 3 detectors which would be your #1 choice for nuggets? Whites MXT, Fisher Gold Bug Pro, or Nokta Fors Gold? Trying to decide on one for my First nugget hunter. The reason i ask is i have a chance to buy a like new MXT Tracker e-series with the 9.50 coil, headphones, carry bag, digging tool and a Whites pin pointer for $325 locally. Or a Nokta Fors Gold that is 1 year old and only used twice for $400. And if i look around i can usually find a Gold Bug for around $400 as well. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  15. Ok, i had the wrong Keith. The fella i was refering to is Keith Southern not Keith Wills. If i find out anything i will be sure to post it here. Thanks Steve.
  16. Thank Steve, Keith has a video on You Tube about how he adjusted the pot for disc mode on his. Tried to reach him on another forum but his in box is full. Is he a member here too? Found him here in the member list and sent him a PM
  17. Anyone know if a manual ground balance pot and knob can be added to the Tesoro Lobo ST like they do on the Cibola? If so, who does this mod and how much would it cost? Thanks for any info.
