Well this is a lively Conference....Thank you Joe for posting the dual piezo transducers....I finally ate some spinach And managed to Pop mine open to take a peek and mine is like Mr. Carolina..... which is similar to the gray ghost phones if you use two of the smaller piezo’s.....I guess Joe won the Lotto and got four Grande Drivers that is why his head was starting to swell Good thing he modded a kill switch .....now he Is almost back to normal.....me I am hard of hearing and had a hearing aid since I was nine even though I was born with perfect hearing at an early age I stepped on a stump In the creek playing with my boat ....my Dad swooped me up and ran me to hospital and sewed my foot up this was all good and back to normal for one year then seeding affect had caused osteomyelitis....then fever and they over did the Stromycin for 21 straight days and caused me to have nerve loss in inner ear But they saved my leg and I am eternally grateful......but really I do hear well and I have always been able to tune out loud noise .....I guess it is because Of my 33 years with the wifey....so finally ......Yes a CZ21 or Excalibur are really good for diving to about a hundred feet last time I looked....I can hear them Better 20 feet and deeper When it comes to diving the Sword Excalibur had 4 output transistors instead of today’s two The old one could hurt your ears out of water Gary Storm held their feet to the fire on that one him being a diver......unless you are like Joe and I and have a hobby inside a hobby never happy always reaching higher it much cheaper to buy what works best for you ......And Keep it well maintained....I did have a little amp I built for diving at shallower depts.....I will have to dig it out Skully see if you can hard wire on perf board which use to be my passion one of a kinds....I will look next time I am over at the big shop.....some people use clickers or off center motors dc that are set to vibrate easy nuff to build especially for the completely deaf that and blinky lightglued to your mask for black water . Wanting to Take Bee for her maiden spin .....my mom’s nurse called and needed more supplies...Covid thing has been hard I have not seen her since it started .....But they tell me she is fine ....poor dear has dementia ....I am just Blessed I have a mom I can still see..... Of late I gotten where I like to do a Key West thing and watch the Sun sink over the beautiful Ocean And Sky call me a hopeless Romantic I do not care ...it is very empowering to me in a Spiritual way ....gives me hope for another Awesome day.. so I got home grabbed my gear notice the CZ6A was a B model I think it breaks down into three pieces for the briefcase.....I’m like this just gets better and better...Did some initial tests in the back yard got ground balance and different modes checked Out all systems go ......head to beach I only live 5 blocks away or less ...as a crow flies..... I had hunted a bit with the AQ on the last short sunset hunt and had pinned down an area that was starting to show promise this Area is not far From where Elvis and June Juanico had their first kiss on the Beach ...... I thought when I dug the Dime it was very deep and In the dying light ....I did not dress out for hardcore night hunt just a laid back seize the moment.... I Remember driving to Atlanta for the dealer seminar when they introduced the Fisher 1266x and the CZ 6 . Like most of the dealers that attended we could not wait to get our hands on these two new units ........to say the least they were way ahead of their time ......depth and versatility unlike any unit on the planet made by the oldest Proudest Name in The Metal Detecting World ....... little did I know that that these units like my 1265X would become My new girls Betty and Nadine .....Betty the 1266X and Nadine the CZ6.......Booth were Mean and Dirty....but when they whisper that sweet Roundness in your Ear you knew you were in love and there would be no turning back. Yes the girls humbled many a proud hunter finding rare coins and jewelry at depths that others could not see at all .....nada nothing .....right behind them under their footprints....the girls had a way of teaching My friends a new art of Deep retrieval. To this Day I do not know how many detectors I have . And I really always have room for one or two more as long as they have the Right Stuff......some where lost along the Trail to the shores of Eldorado...Nadine ran off a couple times ....Well now she is Back with a New Name of fondness I will pour a smidge of Rum oN her coil and Christen her Aunt Bee.......let me tell you of Bee she is a Los Banos CZ6A from a little Lady From Tupelo Mississippi that only took her out to play once a year after the church supper on the grounds ......So she has Religion......Bee of coarse ......Need to go thru storage containers for more coils.... Actually Fisher phones are some of the most copied Headphones ever made the oneS that come with the AQ are actually better than Gray ghost in my opinion .....I designed the Timberwolfs and Hurricanes....the drivers piezo that my friend Beechnut uses I used back in the early 90’s onmypersonal Cuda and one very similar on the production Baracuda ....the only difference in the land phones fisher sold had a clipper circuit built into them to protect youR hearing which a lot of copiers including me left out and just used a variable resistor pot on each ear to dial them in ......I have not pulled the cup on my fisher phones but what I do hear I hear well . I’ll probably put a m12 connector on mine after warranty has expired....To work on JoJo’s Ltd Battery For AQ.....just my thought use earbuds if you want or a clicker Happy Trails jimpugh

This Battery musical chairs .....was a big thorn in my side ..... This Pack is all black and well balanced it looks like the rest of the machine was built to compliment the battery pack ....I chose the M12 connector from my old 3030 headphones gray ghost when they made good stuff my daughter bought me a set for my simplex last Christmas never worked I called left a message never called back new In box .....still dead ....guess they went out of business...anyway .... you can shift this a little up or down to balance it out a little more on coil control.. Nice visit with Deborah and Company (The rest of The Story) Shawn I rolled out of Biloxi Ms. at precisely 3 am . We where in the Ocean Gulf of Mexico at 5 am Pensacola Beach hunting chest Deep Holes.. words for the wise.....Pensacola is a Naval air station Doolittle trained here for his secret attack in world war 2.....lots of secret weapon test in the area.... lots of low frequencySecret Sub communications .....I know this Beach well I was a small group of the first people To get the lion share of water gold that was cream off the top.....I remember living in Fort Walton And Stealth missiles flying over head at night...When Navy and Air Force we’re testing their Wares and improving flight systems.... Also the police and Sheriffs Major Sub Station is less than 300 yards away and less than a 100 yards from Water Ocean this is a 100 plus year old beach that dates back to Spanish occupation....I am very familiar with the old Forts that President or general Jackson took to take Pensacola and the water around them... Now that we are aware of the importance Of dialing in the frequency that purrs like a kitten ......variables kill ....constants are your friend .... Shawn was Geared up with a Eric Fosters proto CS7 that was the first one sent to Mr.Bill.. and it is or was one of his first digital units ......I only mention because he had or was Having slight issue or quirks he would to have reset his unit.....not a problem when he is not in close proximity of a Naval Base ......hmmmm may be A pattern........ It was a little ruff the holes close to beach were workable we retrieved some deep targets and some that we could not recover ...... I had turned on my unit approaching the sand looking out the corner of my eye at the new command center of the sub station (a previous Hurricane had thrown half the old buildings and half the parking lot into the ocean ). Way Biloxi has built UP for 300 years just pack it all down haul-in some red dirt And sand.....build Again.... WAM.....soon as touched the on button approaching the Dry sand Alien Noise saturation.....cleaning the Cobb Webb’s out of my Brain and ears .....I quickly started searching for uniform signal.....finally it came Down to pick your poison and march quickly towards the water .....hoping that I would get some relieve kept checking and waiting..... hoping..... the ringing... signals would quit. as I approached the berm I noticed the signals started to lose magnitude.....a sigh of relief....waiting 5 minutes for the unit to settle I kept searching for the best noise free setting mind you this is five-ish in the dark head lamp on red light......have no clue other than my musings about so much interference ......after sun up it went away for most part.... when out past the curl back side of breakers did not like powdery soft sand found some holes and nice cut worked them for a while found an iPhone 11 other typical beach stuff my machine was working well and I had tried all modes and it was working well for the battery system I had .....at this point it was time to go see Deborah and see what was up with her unit .....after the meeting we det down to the beach she is trying my machine.....and says it seems to be better as in more stable...I ask her if I can use hers and she agrees......her best friend and Hunter hands me the machine .....hmmm...Being a multi line Dealer for 28 years first thing I did was rewrap the coil wire the correct way always over never under.....after setting every thing and givIng it time to settle ......was working very well in Ocean high salt....we decide to follow them to quiet water couple of blocks to the sound which Is very calm ......I get all the Velcro I had in my war bag and Shawn got his and we set her unit up like a pro and I said it might not hurt to add a little more later .... We had a fun time and it was great to see her begin learning her new machine she is a fast Learner has more experience than most....and a go getter....she will do well as the bottom get s better this winter and rehunts her secret spots....... what do Hawaii and Pensacola have in common .....o Jim we love trick questions... Alexandre i will do my best to capture on video and may check with Deborah the possibility of video both units to be as much help as possible my daughter who is a Chemical process Engineer with Dow speaks and writes fluid French.....my concern are for the mutual betterment of the hobby ....this may take some time my hunting partner Shawn Lopes of thirty years the fireman may assist me ..... Again We can make this Happen ..... my gut feeling is mine has a hair trigger on the differential amp that compares the signal sound to the No signal..... and amplifies the difference ...This would be where I would be looking for a part change or Anomaly.... Houston we got a problem my machine is no where close to slight retune of the Mr Tartar kiddie pool or slight sounds in video .....so if they can manufacture this In unit volume it looks like things would be good for a launch .......the units that are noisy ...two things I always look at in Pi’s is the pinch test .....cross up on center shield pins .....Shielding .....the other board settings would appear manageable with slight tweaks in operator settings... I am only trying to help there is nothing personal fellow hunters including myself need A Fix they can only report on their experience....I know Pensacola Beach Well ....there is no mineralization.....just Salt and waves....2 in Hawaii 2 In Pensacola so on ... Finally No one wants To send their units in They are afraid they will get a dumbed down version ....my coil measured 289 micro henries about 3 ohms ....LOL they are afraid their Ferrari will Be turned into a Hugo......Don’t shoot the messenger....hmmm ... Deborah I use to hunt and dive Pensacola Beach ( over a hundred year old beach) back in the early eighties there is Always waves and gold in PB.....I will say I was one of the first to hunt a lot of the golden sites in the area....earlier I use to surf hurricanes me and My brother would hide in the dunes with few friends and wait for the curls to Break jon top of each other we would just jump from one wave to another aaaah the days of adrenaline and Sea foam.....broke many a good board but in that moment you live ten life times.....Still got my old Eliminator 67 one the Beach Boys had on woody wagon . yes I lean towards A 10 just like my board blue strips and gold brown Happy Trails jimpugh

I have got it to work in Destin Florida in open water at sea but it was very calm and even with a slight under tow, but once conditions changed it was the difference in night and day or Heaven and Hell.....out of twenty hours Submerged in high salt salinity The big coil or at least mine did not like Salt I could make it work but at the cost of extreme depth......in brackish water I can make it go where Others can’t get to. It will find gold that all machines miss......but heavy salt now ....I got three good hours most these finds below Blue preset....in the other 17 hours. I am still learning this machine but realize I am very good at what I do in submerged water. jimpugh
