  1. 1 GPS for me would not be important.

2 no need for a color screen

    3 external wire

4 I still think that if the gpx connection is used, it would already be covered with all possible measures and will surely have many guaranteed sales

5 10 feet is enough although for me if it was just waterproof it would be enough

if possible as light as possible and bluetooth connection.  It would not be necessary to include any headphones since most of us fans already have 2 or more sets of headphones

Ok, my honest opinion:   That machine is jumpy and quivering.   I'm sure you could lower the sens, and get it to "quiet down".   But the amount of quivering and fluttering I saw would not be pleasant , in my book.

Who's that handsome guy with the rippling biceps and 6-pack abs that comes in the scenes starting at 9:33 ?  😏

What I'm about to say may sound a bit strange, but believe me it's absolutely true.  it may be that these algae affect the machine and is something responsible for that sizzle.  Here on the beaches of southern Spain (Cádiz), above all, there is a type of algae that emits a weak signal every time the coil passes over it, as if it were a deep object.  Thank God they come out sporadically, otherwise it would be impossible to detect. that only happens with the equinox

  3. I would like the Nokta Makro pulse detector to be between 1,500 and 2,000 euros.  which is not too heavy.  carbon fiber rods, water resistance does not need to be submersible, what could be used the coils of the Minelab gpx, both mono and double d, bluetooth headphones and some type of discrimination.  and a ground balance by pressing a single button on the handle, like a 5000. with this I would be satisfied😁

I modified mine with this.  you should keep in mind that you will have to buy some parts or if you have a 3d printer you can do it yourself.  You can find them on eBay

Looks like a new company with currently limited distribution (map only shows European outlets).  The Hybridscan appears interesting, but do you need to change coils to go from PI to VLF?  Is there much demand for PI's in Europe (compared to parts of the world where native gold is more prevalent)?

Their aftermarket coils are made for many major detector brands.  Do they offer something that the other aftermarket coil manufacturers don't?  (I only see two models and one appears to be either a work-in-progress, or at least their website page for that is.)

In the video you can see that you have to change the coil from pulse to vlf.  The company is recent but the manufacturer has been making detectors for some time.  In Spain there is gold, luckily the Romans did not take all of it, but the great demand for pulse detectors that are sold here are not for the purpose of gold nuggets

In theory they are simply two separate things, induction balance (continuous transmission), versus pulse induction (intermittent transmission). So kind of like combining AC and DC current. But the processing side can be combined in some ways, and has been, so we are seeing some merging of capability via processing. The so-called hybrid machines. But at the end of the day it’s still the same choice. PI offers raw power, but minimal discrimination. IB offers better discrimination, but less raw power. At this point in time you need both types of detectors, if the need exists, because no one machine comes close yet to combining PI depth with IB discrimination.

It would be easy at this point to make a detector that put both in one box, and simply switch between the two methods to cross check a target. The only issue really would be making a decent coil for the process, but it would not be hard. I’m surprised no manufacturer has bothered implementing this in a decent form yet, as I’d buy one in a heartbeat.

How Metal Detectors Work by By Mark Rowan & William Lahr, White’s Electronics

supposedly this does that.  but I don't know if it's true

The Blackdog HybridScan metal detector is a professional detector that combines two technologies: VLF and pulse induction.

Manufactured with the highest quality components (military type).

It stands out for having automatic ground tracking (AUTO-TRACK), and automatic sensitivity adjustment, which adapts itself to ground conditions.

From his comment I'd say Luis wasn't involved in the test, he only posted it. I think this was a recent outing by Alexandre to evaluate some design changes. I have no info on whether the AQ will get back to production; my vote is 'no' unless the pod is redesigned.

The AQ is a really good design (circuit-wise) and should be able to beat the new MF designs in depth. I agree that the iron masking works well with isolated targets but in heavy iron it struggles. I hunted around fire pits on an Oregon beach and the cheeps and chirps that get through the audio make it a real chore to use. In fairness, many VLFs tend to do the same. It's a shame this was pitched as "discrimination" or "iron ID" or "tone ID" etc etc. I wish we had seriously undersold this feature and let people figure out its value. It is useful in some situations.

that's how it is.  I just posted it.  only seen on facebook

I take this opportunity to ask for advice, I would like to take an elliptical coil to use where there is a lot of dirt and on the ground to enter even between stones and narrow areas, it must be light, but that does not lose much depth .... I found two coils, one razorback australian 10x6 and a miner john 12,5x7,5 folded mono (but does this measure really exist or is the seller wrong? I knew it was 12x8) which one do you recommend between the two?

hello break 1. I have White's 7'5 dual brand new.  in case you may be interested.  I no longer have the TDI so it will not be used, I am from Spain.  All the best

  9. I like to watch Magus videos, although I don't understand what he says 😁.  He usually makes depth videos on the beach with the detectors that he uses.  Surely it will soon with the deus II.  He wears wooden splints with a wedding band tied on the end with tape.  He uses several at different depths.  But he gives me the impression that he will not reach the equinox
