  3. I would think you are more likely to get a crack starting from a hex hole? A brand in the UK had this issue. The round hole variation were better.
  4. I only use full tones with a low audio response (2) the other settings are wide open to compensate. The remote stays in my pocket.
  5. Why are they not carbon fibre as well with a nylon threaded insert?
  6. It reminds me of Apple products. They create a problem and make you pay for the fix with a dongle.
  7. Yes I had this as well when I owned one, I just used direct wired after that because it annoyed me too much.
  8. I probably get in about 40 to 50 hours a month on the beach whilst working full time.
  9. It was lost in translation in the original manual. French said lower English said higher.
  10. The manual says 'When using lower levels of SALT SENS, low conductive targets that register around TID 30 may also be slightly attenuated, this setting will not effect higher conductive targets.'

  13. I have the 9 for a heavily iron infested beach, I may get the 13 if it is ever a thing.
  14. Try setting your disc to the minimum -6.4 or 0.0 depending on base program and let the tones tell you what to dig. That's how I use full tones.
  15. All of my programs have the silencer set to 0. They all stay at 0.
