I'm testing it on my iron field and works perfectly for me! Is a lot better with better audio. One minus - I think is slightly slower at signal processing... but audio and unmasking and stability are better! Also, iron falsing is lower. Huge progress!
I agree, I took mine to the beach and was pleased with the audio and separation.

I would think you are more likely to get a crack starting from a hex hole? A brand in the UK had this issue. The round hole variation were better.

I only use full tones with a low audio response (2) the other settings are wide open to compensate. The remote stays in my pocket.

Why are they not carbon fibre as well with a nylon threaded insert?

It reminds me of Apple products. They create a problem and make you pay for the fix with a dongle.

Yes I had this as well when I owned one, I just used direct wired after that because it annoyed me too much.

I probably get in about 40 to 50 hours a month on the beach whilst working full time.

So you confirm that we can't run with light off?
come on, I can't see myself buying a 2000 bucks detector and having to stick Velcro which will dirty the screen and take water and sanda black sock, why not but that adds a detail to think about and to be able to touch the settings you would have to put it on halfway, not even sure that it holds all the hunting and that it completely hides the light.
this is not a golf driver we are talking about
moreover, completely turning off the lights can be useful for those who want to save a little battery
I remain perplexed that minelab did not think of a 0 for the adjustment of the lights🤔

'm not sure how this compares, in an "apples to apples" way to the stock shaft (no coil, no remote attached), but perhaps someone can chime in?
It weighs 470 grams or 16.5oz

At the top of the screen there is an icon that appears to be a weight? Anybody have a clue about that?
Overload perhaps?

It was lost in translation in the original manual. French said lower English said higher.
-
The manual says
'When using lower levels of SALT SENS, low conductive targets that register around TID 30 may also be slightly attenuated, this setting will not effect higher conductive targets.'

Is v0.71 final release?
'Initial versions are numbers less than 1, with these 0.x version used to convey that the software is incomplete and not reliable enough for general release or usable in its current state. Backward-incompatible changes are common with 0.x versions.'

It lets me install it from here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bleu122.goterrain
For people with an Android phone I've dumped the 32bit and 64bit APK installer files on my Google drive.
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1MR5x0_Q1VbNr0lvqjabBI2OjDXqZar5h?usp=sharing
You can just install it with any APK installer like this one
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.apkinstaller.ApkInstaller&hl=en&gl=US
Thanks, i have it installed. I will give it a test tomorrow even though I don't really like my phone being on whilst detecting.

I have the 9 for a heavily iron infested beach, I may get the 13 if it is ever a thing.

Try setting your disc to the minimum -6.4 or 0.0 depending on base program and let the tones tell you what to dig.
That's how I use full tones.

does the silencer change back to a certain setting after going off the magic program and then back on?
All of my programs have the silencer set to 0. They all stay at 0.
