Third UK shipment is in 5 to 6 weeks. A larger shipment with more 9 inch coil machines.

It is still trying to cycle to show you what program you are in. I would rather the program remained hidden until a key is pressed.

The more the hype dies down the shorter the waiting list will get. It's not looking like leaps and bounds above anything else at the moment. The wait is a good thing to really find out what it performs like.

I got a 9 inch in the basket, went to pay and it had sold out in like 20 seconds.

A distributor in the UK has stated that the 9 inch option will be much harder to get hold of to begin with. The majority of the first machines imported are 11's. Personally i'm after a 9 so I may have to wait a bit longer. I have checked a french dealers website and the 11 inch is in stock. The 9 inch says available in February.

I don't bother shimming my worn washers. I just use liquid latex rubber. Paint it on as many layers as you need. Easy to remove as well if needed.

Coiltek are making them are they not? 10x5,14x9 and 15 inch round.

As the machine only has one physical recovery speed(3), I would like to know why increasing the recovery speed setting reduces depth when all that is happening is that the machine is clipping the audio as you go up the scale?

My unit updated first time, the cable was a little fiddly to get in but otherwise ok.

Isn't your go to machine an etrac? I'm not trying to pick holes here but you are not making much sense to me.

Interesting that the coil is only 6 in wide. Does that mean it is a slow recovery speed? 

I will compare it to my soon to be had V 540 when get them. 

But as I use the ET I'm not much bothered with hyper fast recovery speed. Just want damned good target info if anything.

You have sold your nox and you are now getting a Vanquish?

Afterwards I took my Nox and its coils and other bits I wanted to sell to my dealer and sold them. I have now paid for my Apex and I feel it will be a good machine , its not a main top ender but if its at least as good as an Ace 250 or even a 400i then It will sell well.

I was told by my dealer that the patents for the FBS have all run out so I can only imagine that is where Garrett has got its ideas from.

Interesting reason on why you have found no gold this year. Does your ET discriminate out gold that has been dropped before March? I have found a reasonable amount on the same beaches you detect on with the nox, some of which was a nice low tone. If you do not like the tones on these minelab machines it does not take long to change them to whatever sound you prefer.
