and they show the +? why will mine just not work grrrrrrr, is there a specific process you use? as i seem to have tried every way imaginable, even last night went down to lower firmware on the nox, same, so went back up to the latest as it changed nothing regarding my issue
Yes, equinox 600 show +
- power on headphones
- power on equinox
- wait 10-20 sec
If connecting first time:
- Press the wireless button on the side of the EQUINOX
- press "+" and " -" buttons for 3 sec on headphone
- wait

I have ep650 (BT 4.2) - work well on my equinox 600

I found only such headphones (BT LE LC3) on the market: "Redmi Buds 4 Pro" and "Soundcore VR P10"....

Price is good! If you want new coil for Equinox - buy X-Terra pro🤣

1.) WM-08/10/12 (Wi-Stream) from ML and Z-LYNK from Garrett and WireFree from Quest and other ... use same technology from TI "PurePath™ Wireless audio" based on chip CC85**
2.) BT low energy ≠ BT low energy audio (LC3 codec)
3.) Old Equinox for BT use Qualcomm CSR8675 with BT APTX LL and for "Wi-Stream" use TI CC8531
4.) New Equinox/Manticore/XTerra Pro use only Nordic nRF5340 (BT 5.3 LE and support LE Audio)

IWA OUTDOOR CLASSICS SHOW | GERMANY
Event Date: 02/03/2023 - 05/03/2023
Event Location: Exhibition Centre 90471 Nuremberg, Germany.
NUREMBERG, Germany – Minelab, the world leader in metal-detecting technologies for gold prospecting, treasure hunting, and landmine clearance, will be fully detectable at the IWA Outdoor Classics Show 2023. From March 2 – 5, industry leaders will gather at the hottest trade show for high performance in target sports, nature activities and personal protection.
“We are thrilled to bring our latest new outstanding detectors – the MANTICORE, the EQUINOX 700/900 – to IWA. It’s an incredible opportunity to show trade experts and fans the exquisite functions of each of these models in person,” said Vincent O’Brien, General Manager of Minelab Europe.
Located in Hall 4, Stand 4-424, Minelab will showcase the following models:
MANTICORE: An unrivaled detecting experience built from the brand’s original Multi-IQ technology, Multi-IQ+ transmits more power, operates at a wider range and unearths more targets. Despite its power, MANTICORE weighs only 2.9lbs kgs and features a three-piece, collapsible carbon-fiber shaft system. MANTICORE also features a large color screen that delivers the most intuitive user experience ever offered on a detector.
EQUINOX 700 and 900 models: These boast improved Target Separation and increased high-resolution Target IDs to help detectorists distinguish between trash and treasure like never before. 5% lighter than their predecessors, these models are waterproof up to 16 feet.
Join us Saturday 4 March at 15:00 as Minelab launch our latest product - #xterrapro-

A big mistake in my eyes, they will probably offer a module at an extra price in the future.
Manticore have only "Bluetooth Low Energy Audio". If device allows you to connect third-party devices, then you can buy a receiver based on this technology. But there are no such devices on the market today.

800: FE=4 ?!
900: tone = dP !
FE(900) ≠ FE(800)

They won't show up on the website unless they have stock ready to sell. Once they sell out, they disappear from the site.
Hmmm.... But I see Equinox700/900 - "out of stock", and don't see Manticore page (Kellyco)
-
Why no more Manticore on Cabelas and Kellyco? No webpage with "pre-order" or "out of stock"?

- "Bluetooth Low Energy" and "Bluetooth Low Energy Audio" is the different technology.
- any Bluetooth versions can be connected to each other
- if we can't connect any other Bluetooth device (not ML) to 700/900/Manticore, this means that the company has applied some kind of protection or authentication
Has anyone tried connecting ML85/105 headphones to a smartphone?

We know that the device uses Bluetooth LE Audio (fccid test), but there is no information about this in the instructions, just as there is no information about the ability to connect wireless headphones from other manufacturers. Why? Has anyone tried to connect other (not Minelab) headphones?

Trond use APTX LL (low latency), latency ≈ 20ms. But wireless headphones must also have aptx LL.
