all the garrets I have had don't last very long about 5 months or so and all they do is beep all the time drives me crazy so I have a deteknix wader with the built in litho poly battery and it does really good never beeps unless there is metal close to it except if the equinox gets too close it beeps until you noise cancel but awesome pointer now they are called quest but still the same unit. I found mine half price almost two years ago and no problems so far. 

most smartphones will give a battery level for paired Bluetooth devices when they are connected and turned on

I personally would recomend an etrac or ctx the nox is not finding much for me at all yet ive had it about two weeks and no silver yet i guess ill have to get my ctx out to find silver really disappointed in the nox so far

Glad its working for you in your soil but so far my ctx is more accurate in ID AND DEPTH than my nox i really dont like the nox so far but i will give it another chance but it doesn't look good?

My dealer orded 5 and received 2 and i was 2nd on the list i picked it up yesterday so far im impressed. Cant understand why klco only received 6 doesn't make sense unless that was the max on 1st shipment hope everyone gets it soon!!!

Sounds just like me I get mine tomorrow I was #2 on the list and he received 2 he is a very small dealer as well gl&hh!!!!!!!
