That's very interesting Jasong, keep us posted as you get into more advanced questions for it. Maybe ask it some questions about placer gold deposits and Mass Wasting. For kicks ask it about Gold Skarns and how to hunt them. Heck, even just see what it even comes up with about Gold Skarns would be entertaining .

Yeah, Jasong we might as well get those as well in areas that give them up. Sapphires settle in to same type of areas as gold, diamonds, rubies etc. Good colored sapphires can bring in some insane dollar amounts per carat. The area my claims are in supposedly have diamonds as well. I have heard they are industrial grade. I suppose you can find a good one or two amongst a bunch of pore quality ones. African Saruca's are the way to go. Dry washers should be another viable way I would think. You'll just have to give it a try and see what happens.

Things are going good. Im not camped in a good spot for nuggets but this area is rich in Sapphires. I'll be doing some sapphire mining as soon as my Saruca's get here. Good money in Sapphires too. I'll do this til the snow clears out of the mountains to the point I can get some more gold. Got a buyer who will be buying every bit of gold I can dig up so won't be hurting for money. I've been sleeping like a baby in this 27 degree nights being back in Montana. I haven't used my heater once in the back of the truck since I have been back. Heck, I even slept in til 9:30 this morning. That is unheard of for me. I typically get up around 5 am. Gold Ryder and I are going to have to deal with a scoundrel former claim partner this summer, who apparently is going to be a thorn in our sides. Hopefully the bears will be out in force this year. 😆🤣

As soon as this crappy weather stops and finally starts getting warm to the point we can get up to and work our claims, then I can start pulling out some serious gold.

I got back to Montana a week ago and the weather was great until last night. Hahaha! No gold yet since I have been back but I ended my winter in Arizona with an ounce of gold.

Controled tests mean nothing unless you have two 6000's, one with the stock coil and one with the 12x7 and run each one over a real target (Gold) undug, undisturbed to see how they both fare. Anything less than this and the results won't be accurate. Some people might be ok with leaving the 12x7, 5x10, 9x14 coils on all the time, but I can't afford to make that mistake again after having done so with the 9x14. The 9x14 was missing small gold! This went on for a month before I realized it couldn't compete with the 11"stock coil on small gold. I hunt for gold for a living with a detector and will continue to take each coil over same ground to make sure I don't miss anything.

That is fine craftsmanship. Should work very well and last a lifetime.

I love the 12 x 7 Exceed, it punches deep, however it is equivalent to a 9" round. I would caution anyone from omitting the 11" stock coil from their hunting majority of the time. Though the 12x7 punches deep, I definitely feel it cannot match the 11" on depth on some nuggets. You can't compare apples to oranges and you realistically can't compare a 12x7 (9" round) to an 11" round. I pulled a deep 1.55 gram nugget around 14"-15" deep with the 11" stock coil. The day before the 12x7 couldn't hear it. It was barely audible with the 11 " round. I am certain the 11" will go deeper on some nuggets. But on the other hand I think the 12x7 will punch deeper on smaller gold.

I have the NF 25" DDX coil and it is very stable. It can pick up a half gram nugget. With the pro swing 45, bungee and the Minelab swing arm, it is very comfortable to swing most of the day. It also pinpoints very well for a huge coil.

A buddy of mine was there last August and he only found 5 grams of gold. He was very disappointed with accomodations and gold results as well as food portions. It doesn't appear he will be going back ever again.

Strick, the video blurring out is a blurring filter I put in those areas to help prevent anyone who knows the area from locating where I am finding my gold. I hunt gold full-time for a living as you know already and the last thing I need is others showing up cleaning out my secret spots. 😁. I really enjoy helping other nugget hunters find more gold but my secret spots are my secret spots. Yes the 6000 really hits on tiny gold hard, like the Monster. If you get the NF 12x7, you won't be disappointed. That coil glides over the rocks and stubby vegetation 100% better than the Coiltek.

Mackerel stays in my ATV bag every time I'm out detecting. They taste great and it gives me plenty of energy. Better than vegetarian, pasta or rice. Sometimes Spiced Rum and Coke for a celebration swig when I pop a nice nugget out of the ground. Reg, take a hot bath with some camomile and Epsom salts and just calm down, the whole world has gone off their rocker. It's not just America. Australia is becoming quite Orwellian from what I'm seeing. Oh and by the way jerky is the bomb. You should try it more often. Packed with protein and energy. Just what we need out their detecting.

I snagged 9 more nuggets today with the NF 12x7 coil most were deep. Video coming in a week or two. They were in a very sketchy wash. One of these days soon I suspect I will run into a Green Mohave in this deep steep sided wash. Cholla got me again. Got it on video. 😆🤣

I took the 6000 with the 12x7 NF into a wash I found my last 5 nuggets in last year before I headed back to Montana and I found a few more. I hit this wash when I got back here in October with the 11" and again with the 17" and couldn't hit on anything at all. Well I decided to go in there with the 12x7 and got 3 small ones in the lower stretch and went back yesterday for an evening hunt and hit on a deep 10"-11" .47 of a gram about three feet away from where I found one from last year in the bottom of the wash. This coil is definitely a really good coil.
