  1. It you are impatient to watch a nice nugget being dug out of the ground in a tough time consuming scenario then you are probably to impatient to actually dig a nice nugget out of the ground in a tough time consuming scenario. Let those of us who are patient know where you hunt for gold, if you hunt for gold and we will follow behind you when you get impatient. 😊. Being patient gets gold. Sorry Charlie! 🐟

  2. Im back in Meadview, Az and I got my first nugget today for the winter season here in Arizona. It is good to be back and it seems like I was just here two months ago, even though I left here for Montana in April. I am dealing with some hot temps that I am not used to with not having any shade to hide under. I am staying in my bell tent and the flies right now are rivaling Montana but there appears to be one basic type of fly. In Montana we have well over twenty types of flies to deal with. I now have to add another annoyance to deal with. Ants by the hundreds getting into my tent. 😡. I had a mouse get into my atv cargo bag and he ate some snacks and a pack of smokes which pissed me off. Well as of this morning he is no more. Now I have to eliminate the rest of the mice and the rat. The flies are driving me bananas 🤬😤. I thought I was going to get skunked today and while I was heading back to my ATV , I reached the coil under a bush and it screamed and out came a nice . 76 of a gram nugget to keep the skunk at bay. I have a good video coming next that I think y'all will like. I am still uploading vids from Montana. When those are done I will start on my time detecting in Nevada. Living outdoors for three years now and trying to earn a living by detecting for gold is not easy and it wears on my moral. There are a lot of things I love about it but there are things I despise about it. I am down to under $100, and very soon I need to pull a miracle out of the ground and get it sold. I am close to 500 subscribers, 462 last time I looked. I would really appreciate it if y'all spread the word to any friends you have that detect and or like watching videos like this. I am going to start adding in things that happen or take place outside of detecting itself. Camp life and the highs and lows of living like this is what I am talking about and other things I come across. Thank you to all on here that follow me and follow me on YouTube. I much appreciate it. Those of you in Australia that read my posts on here, please check out my channel and spread the word. Gold Seeker Adventures. I don't think there are too many people in the states choosing to live out of a tent with no end in sight trying to make a living detecting for gold solely for their income. It's truly feast or famine to say the least. Ahh but I know a freedom not many people get to experience in this day and age and the gold is getting harder to find. Every day I have to put my strategies to use and every day I have to invent new strategies and evaluate new theories I come up with to continue staying ontop of the gold. Below is my last big group of nuggets from detecting my claims in Montana and I just sold them all, a few days ago to get to Arizona. They were 6.6 grams. The other pic of nuggets is what I found in Winnemucca area including Rye Patch, The Eugene mountains, Pronto, Bikini tree, Sawtooth, rabbit hole, placerites, and the Humbolt mounains. This gold will be given away for book sales. Buy two books get a nugget sort of thing.

  3. I got 4 nuggets out of my recent patch and then went out to find another patch towards end of the day. I ended up finding another patch. Got 3 out of it. 7 for today. This is all the gold I got here so far. One of my patches I found was looking like it was going to be good and the second day I went in the my friend here went in there when he said he wouldn't and cleaned out 12 nuggets for somewhere between 3-4 grams perhaps. One nugget had to have been a gram. When I got there and saw he was already there cleaning it out, it pissed me off really bad. That is something guys shouldn't do when someone else finds a patch. Wait to be invited on the patch. I won't be sharing any more patches I find with him. I have found two in two days. The loss of those twelve nuggets hurts when I am the one who found it and rely on every bit of gold I can pull out of patches I find.

  5. I like the country well enough. It is much better digging and scraping than my claims in Montana. Gold is not as pure as what I am used to, but gold is gold and it is still fun plucking it out of the ground. I have found three patches in a weeks time. One has given up 18 nuggets with the biggest around 1 g and I just found another one today that has given up 6 nuggets in about an hour. I'm heading back there in the morning. I was going to stay here until first or second week of October but over all I am not overly impressed with hunting NV. I will take Gold Basin and Lost Basin any day. The gold is higher purity in AZ  where I hunt and since I only have the gold to pay bills and eat , this pale gold won't bring me as much when sold. So I am pulling out in about a week or week and a couple days for Gold Basin. Here is the gold I got today in my new patch.

  6. I have had one guy case me out to rob me years ago and in March of 2022 in Meadview, Arizona I had another guy try to intimidate me with a pistol. This is why I now have the Taurus Judge on my hip at all times. I also have cellular game cameras that I doctor up with local vegetation and I guarantee noone will ever see them. It pays to use a cellular game camera and have instant notifications of something or someone tripping it. It also has a built in GPS theft locator to lead the sheriff right to the camera. Even if they destroy it or sell it, they will be caught the moment they take it and sends it off to the app via Internet. This pistol might be heavy compared to semi auto's but I can shoot 45 colt, 00 buck, or any size birdshot. Turkey loads will do a lot of damage.

  7. I got my new boots and these have got to be the best detecting boots I have ever come across by far. Hard exterior composit toe good leather, solid hard rubber sole, so they will be long lasting when doing a boot scrape. No cholla will make it through these soles. Hahaha. Yesterday I got 4 nuggets and I came across a cow killer and man, those things can walk fast. I also turned over a large chunk of quartz and pissed off a scorpion hiding under it. It was about 2.5- 3 inches long. I kept putting the pick head in front of him and he kept stabbing it with his tail stinger. Then he seemed to keep moving towards me where ever I walked around the rock. He was upset I uprooted his hiding place. These boots have good traction and stability. 100% metal free. $179.00. Good by Keen boots, hello Thorogood.

  8. I think it is going to be an early winter and my topper leaks, making me get tired of getting into a wet bed. The gold has not been good at the claims this year. Didn't even hit an ounce. I figured I better get out of there before heavier rains and colder temperatures kicked in. Plus I had to deal with a rat eating things under the hood of my truck. I finally dispatched of him with my 10/22 the day before I left. The heat was hot when I got here in late August but I welcomed it gladly. I still hunted til about 4-5 pm most days. Got 7 nuggets so far for a gram total. While I am here I will get leak taken care of on truck topper and continue finding gold til I head for Arizona - Gold Basin/Lost Basin. Seeing the wild Mustangs was awesome! The Mormon cricket in my tent by my bed; not so much. Got first electrum nugget the other day or pretty close to being electrum. Very pale. I have some good videos coming up.

  9. In Montana, I just have flies and grizzlies to be concerned about, with flies being the worst of the two. In Arizona, it is the rattlesnakes, but I haven't seen one in two years of poking around in some nasty terrain looking for gold. I now have to be concerned about the tiny scorpions I have been digging up that are really hard to see. Leather gloves are a must but I don't like wearing them. Now that I am in Winnemucca NV, I just have rattlesnakes to be concerned about, but I have been detecting every day and I haven't seen one yet. I have hunted the Eugene mountains, Humboldt mountains and hills, Rye patch, Sawtooth knob area, Blue Mountain and Tungsten area and haven't seen any snakes. I have a new pair of metal free boots that will be here soon that appear to be of high quality American made quality that should wear well and slow. Thorogood boots, gen-flex 2 . This area is interesting but I can't wait to get back to Gold Basin in Arizona.

  10. One Guy  - (Scott Walker). He was a good detectorist, a good logger, really good with a chainsaw, a good scaler. And damn did he have some funny stories from his years on this earth. He was present when I set my backpack down to start detecting and I quickly realized I set my backpack down on a ground hornets nest. He laughed his ass off over that one. 😂🤣.I will find some video footage of him and do an In memory of on my next video at the begt or end of the video.
