I have an unused Minelab bag I bought for my CTX I had at the time so I’ll end up using that. Although I rarely use anything when I go to the beach.

I only hunt the beach and shallow water since I love that environment. So here’s hoping that the Equinox will perform in the surf. I had a dream the other night that my new Equinox kept morphing into a Go-Find. I’d look down at the coil and it had turned into a rectangle.

I hunt at the beach and do not like having the extra weight of my cell phone with me and my hands are usually covered with sand so having to refer to a pdf is not practical while learning a new detector. Oh well, progress, sort of.

Holy Moly! My hands were shaking just watching the video. I can’t believe how many coins were in that small container. Congratulations on such a stellar find.

I had the same problem about the screen when wearing my polarized prescription sunglasses. I had to start wearing my clear glasses with a non-polarized clip on.

I got my pre-order in with deposit back when it was announced. I was told That I was number 3 on the pre-order list. Sooo we will see. I’m wondering what makes this detector release so popular. For me, I had sold my Excalibur and needed a water machine and was already familiar with Minelab. Maybe the reasonable pricing I guess?

Thank you for the link Steve. One question, does the warranty start on the date pre-ordered or when it ships? There would be some missing warranty months if it’s on the preorder date.

I just found it at the Minelab site: 3 Year’s on control box and coil.

Seal Beach occasionally, Bolsa Chica and Huntington Beach more often. I used to surf these locations so I like going there to detect and enjoy a few hours. Are you local AW?
