  1. Welcome to the forum MT! The Minelab Equinox 800 is good choice that will allow you to grow with it. Good luck and thanks for joining up!
  2. Yes.. the beach is easier to dig. Just my view from the scoop!
  3. Tell her you’ll be able to find it if you lose it while detecting.
  4. Welcome to the forum and thanks for the video. Good luck!
  5. Welcome to the forum! Plus 1 on the Garrett’s Stow Away HP.
  6. Welcome aboard Rob. Thanks for joining up. Good luck with the new detector!
  7. Same here. Great complement to the ORX and Deus.
  8. That’s awesome Joe! Great finds! Sorry about the one that got away. .but it’s waiting there for you. I would love to water hunt but our Southern California waves are brutal and I would just end up getting my butt kicked. Good luck my friend!
  9. If you haven’t already purchased a detector I’d recommend the Equinox 600 over the Vanquish. Good luck in your choices!
  10. Awesome job on the find and return of this gentleman’s ring!
  11. Good job! Super nice looking Deck. How’s it been holding up?
  12. Welcome to the forum from Southern California. Good luck!
  13. I agree Simon. I believe one can void the warranty on the Deus Coil if you use it without a cover.
  14. Great write up abenson and very informative. I would definitely not compare the ORX/Deus in like manner to the Vanquish/Equinox configurations. The ORX is quite capable. I see you’ve already addressed that part though. Good luck!
  15. Welcome to the forum Billy. Good luck!
  16. Thanks Gerry! Rare enough to feel blessed by this find.
  17. Ok so I checked the TID out and it’s a solid 13 on all settings using the Nox. It weighs 8.27 grams. 58-60 but would default to 58 in most modes on the Deus.
  18. Thanks for the kind words everyone. Simon I didn’t look at the numbers because I was using the XP Deus in beach mode with the x/y screen graphic loaded. The line in the x/y graphic went from the upper right quadrant down to the lower left quadrant. That indicated a good target so I dug and was rewarded. Any detector would of found it though. I was just very fortunate to have swung the coil over it.
