Has anyone else noticed that the folks that have been very unhappy with kellyco have suddenly all gone silent?  Last I saw kellyco sent messages that they would begin shipping preorders. Is it possible they got in a substantial allotment and have been shipping a bunch out?

I'm not sure from the last update I got whether he's had a second shipment or not. I just know that after the first one I was #7 and now I'm #5. 

    I know for a fact that Minelab is bringing in units every week to week and a half, but they may be allocating them in different regions, not just here in the US, and no single dealer is being favored anywhere. 

  So when we see a tracking number is when we know we are going to get our equinox. 

I agree with all of marks comments. I sold my safari for the funds to preorder EQ but I also felt I would use it way less after I got the Nox, especially at homesites. The weight was a factor but less so

I have the "fold and go" as it is called. Dan Willis in Ok Installed on my f75 - as a trial as it first was available just for Garrett AT series.-- if your pic is an f75 it's most likely my detector. I will be installing a fold and go on my Equinox as soon as I get mine. 

These are really good for ultimate portability. My f75 fits into a tennis racket bag believe it or not 

Ordered and paid October 8. Presently in the coveted #5 position. You guys that ordered in September I feel your pain

 Well yes I suppose a boat load with 50,000 equinoxes aboard might do the trick LOL though in that casenearly all the preorders would be filled at the same time in late March

 So if it's another onesie Twosie shipment to most dealers now how on earth are they going to Cover pre-orders by The end of March that could be 30 or 50 or 75 at a midsize dealer? I would only see that if my dealers  next shipment would be about 10 units. I am number seven  with my dealer and I'm guessing he has 30 to 50 pre-orders to fill. Of coursei'm curious to know what his backlog is,  but I haven't been bugging him --I've inquired no more than once a month since I ordered mine on October 8

The question is not are these and other dealers getting any shipments, certainly they are. The 64,000 questions are WHEN?and HOW MANY??  I know I'm going to get mine, but having ordered early October, I'm  just not content with the same answer as they guy who ordered in mid-January-- namely sometime before the end of march. Or am I being a whiner???

I am starting to use it on my f75 in dense iron and it does work well though I did see a several TID points of difference from the stock elliptical coil. I'm not really concerned about that. I guess as Dave Johnson said it's Ok To try and won't harm the detector. 

I will admit I'm partial to just keeping the tracking on like I did on my 705-except for when I feel like experimenting.

I plan on using the F-Pulse for sniping bedrock as well as general pinpointing for coins and jewelry. I have not tested the F-Pulse with the Equinox yet, but hopefully I will get to in the next week or two.  The F-Pulse does have the ability to shift the frequency to run with various detectors.

But has anyone yet tried using it with the Nox? I'm still obnoxiously waiting for mine. 

So many good ones. I'm just trying out my fisher f-pulse which has good features like 2 yr warrantee, waterproof, pulse induction good in mineralization, good depth, fully adjustable sensitivity, abrasion resistant.hoping no interference with the Nox , but there are multiple frequencies to select from  

Of course there's the new Minelab pro find 15 and 35(ferrous tone) should be good with equinox. that's just the beginning. Garretts always good choice too. 

Yes, mike has a good show going with excellent guests. Particularly enjoyed the last show with George Kinsey gave a lot of good insights on favorite detectors from the first ones to the latest. I believe he also has tested the equinox. Steve you were mentioned as a friend and with utmost respect. They both also praised detector prospector as about the best out there. 

Excellent job, Dan  on this excellent informative post. This equinox is indeed a game changer 

I thank everyone for posting their initial experiences with the equinox- at least the waiting time is not wasted time because I feel I will be all the more prepared as a result of reading these. Weather here improving though,so I hope it comes soon.
