Just an FYI. I also called KellyCo and canceled this afternoon. I was told my name was in the next shipment, but enough is enough. (I fell for that line almost a month ago) Overall, I learned a valuable lesson and look forward to working with a dealer who is willing and able and appreciates my business. Good luck everyone and especially those who ordered through KellyCo, you’re going to need it.

Hey Morris, first of all thank you for your service. Seriously. Thank you. Secondly, I called KellyCo again today for a quick update, I thought the first time I called was a nightmare! I gave them my order number again, they put me on hold AGAIN and finally admitted AGAIN that I did have an 800 on order. I asked the all important question as to “when”, and was immediately interrupted and told “You’ll get it sooner or later”. Ok. I then asked why people who order 24 days after I did had already received theirs and was interrupted AGAIN by the rep and he threatened to hang up on me and “didn’t get paid enough to listen to this”.... I tried again to talk to this guy but he immediately interrupted me for a third time with and an extremely loud “HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY.” over me over and over. Wtf? I hung up on the jackass. Good luck Morris! I hope you get yours soon.

Thanks Coherent for replying. Just as I suspected. Your order is just one of many that has proven my fears weren’t unfounded. KellyCo is incompetent at best, they still are holding on to their pipedream that “All orders are being filled in order received.” I prepaid and preordered September 20th, still haven’t heard a word. Enjoy your machine, hope you find lots of good stuff with it.

Chase, it’s almost a comedy of errors at this point isn’t it? I mean, all we can do is just admire the universe as it conspires to work against us! Lol. I’m glad to hear you’re getting close (even though it’s still a loooong ways from being in your hands), I still haven’t heard a peep.

Yes, it is a bit infuriating. Just another example of orders being filled out of order. There are at least two people on findmall who just got tracking numbers for orders placed in October from KellyCo all examples of what I called them about and was told that it was a lie. Not cool. I much rather would have been told “Hey, it looks like we made a mistake. We are deeply sorry and hope you understand. We are striving to get this straightened out and hope to have your machine in your hand as soon as possible.” But instead I got “That’s a lie. But I guarantee you will get your machine EVENTUALLY...” Arrrghhh!

After a couple of obvious boilerplate reply emails from KellyCo, I decided to call them today. Not good. They did have my order number and did admit I had an order with them, but it wasn’t pleasant after that. They were quick to say orders are being filled IN ORDER received, when I asked why a fellow detectorist received their machine on the 17th despite ordering the 21st (after me) I was told that was a lie. I’m not sure if I’m the liar, or the guy happily using his detector is the liar. Anyways, I was assured that I would eventually get my machine, (far from reassuring). Currently at 162 days from prepaid order.

Personally I’ve gone silent because I figured people were tiring of hearing me/us complain. Nothing shipped to me yet! (Or even an email nor ransom note.)

You ordered the 20th of Sept, correct? I did too, but no email for me today. Hoping tomorrow (or else!) Congrats.

It’s weird. That guy and I ordered on the same exact day (Sept 20th), I was hoping pretty hard that when I got home, mine would also be on my doorstep... nope. Maybe today. Supposedly KellyCo is filling orders in order, but someone mentioned they ordered on Sept 21st and received theirs Feb 17th. The whole thing is weird, but I’m in for the duration, and hope to get mine soon.

Yes. I received this email as well. Also on another side track, one of the guys on Facebook who preordered the same day as me (Sep 20th) received his 800 today out of the blue. No shipping notice, just showed up on his doorstep. So getting this email, AND hearing about his surprise delivery, I raced home to find nothing...

A guy on one of the Facebook groups got his from KellyCo today. He said his invoice said September 21st. I ordered mine September 20th from them and haven’t heard a word... arrrgh!

I have no idea what number I am. Those fine fellows at KellyCo wouldn’t say where I was on the list. But I ordered just days after the parachute dropped at Detectival, September 20th, and didn’t get in the first batch. They said they only got 6 in, which means with my luck, I was number 7. ... patiently waiting...

BigSky, I received the EXACT same email today, word for word. I was hoping I ordered early enough to sneak in under the wire, but apparently not. I ordered September 20th, just days after Detectival.
