I have not used the DEUS myself, but reports I have heard have not been the best. The DEUS seems to really struggle on the smaller sized gold. A customer of mine tried one on his claim in the Humbolt Range and his report was that his Garrett Ace 350 that his son uses performed better. I really like the concept but want to try for myself before counting it out.
I use the GPX series coils on my Whites detectors all the time. I just use the whites nylon bolt and nut, using the original Whites shaft, and install a extra rubber Whites or Minelab coil washer on one side and it works fine.

I have been running GP series mono coils on my TDI Pro and SL for awhile now. Are you saying we should only use the DD GP series coils on the TDI's? Just curious because I thought any GP series coil was ok to use. I did notice the TDI's tend to get a little erratic when I go over 14" but purr like a kitten with the smaller 8" Commander and 6X8 NF.
