Minelab X-terra Pro Vs Nokta Simplex
dsb replied to โ Cipher's topic in Metal Detector Advice & Comparisons
This one surprised me and surprised at myself changing into a fan. I bought a go-find at basspro several yrs ago to keep in my truck but it was too fragile so sold it. X terra pro would be perfect for that. But would it kill them to add the $30 wired phones๐ -
Do you have sites that are unpredictable EMI wise? I had many but mostly urban. I have had some luck running N/C with coil on the ground. Was hoping the 900 would have an edge over the 800 but have not heard . And then when i get a to hunt a old yard but need to hurry i run 4-10 single KHz and cherry pick silver i notice less EMI.

Unidentified Copper From Near A Ca Catholic Mission

Am i seeing a figure standing over another? If so it's depicting a bible story scene. Mary praying over Christ's body?? -
The OMNITRON folding device for the M/C looks kind of weak but their EQ set up looks better although it raises the grip so much it comes with a riser for the armrest. https://omnitron.pl/produkt/zestaw-do-skladania-minelab-manticore/

Hopefully just a globalization translation conflagration in marketing, Really doubting that "Manticore" was the intended name now. ๐ค๐

If i was looking to Minelab to take care of it I'd leave it and see how they want to proceed.

The wily and ever opportunistic bottle cap strikes again!

I made a CF shaft for my 800 to get around the loose original shaft problem in 2018. Thinking a 700/900 is next detector. Do you thing the stock shaft will hold up to the grit from water hunting?

In Need Of A New Sand Scoop, I'm Looking At Xtremescoops Atm
dsb replied to Sirius's topic in Metal Detecting For Jewelry
I bought a used RTG scoop with a stainless tip. I get through the gravely sand fine plus if i can wiggle a bigger rock easy just wiggle some more and they come loose most of the time. If it don't move your just trashing your scoop. I detct fresh water only and have around 200 hours on a used scoop pic is not mine but still in good shape. -
Minelab X-terra Pro Vs Nokta Simplex
dsb replied to โ Cipher's topic in Metal Detector Advice & Comparisons
Think thats the reason behind the Vanquish. these new low price units are either a low end turf war or getting ready for an economic dive. If it was 2016 this new X-terra would have been a lot more $. -
Minelab X-terra Pro Vs Nokta Simplex
dsb replied to โ Cipher's topic in Metal Detector Advice & Comparisons
nokta's nickname for the legend should have been "Bear poker. If i was looking for my first detector now and had $400 to spend it would be the Vanquish, SMF wins. But i'd be wanting the Legend so bad probably find the extra bucks. -
The coil options will help sell to EQ people looking for a back up I'd bet. Be nice to have along with a small coil when you hit a trashy section at a good location. Fast and familiar. Plus you don't have to dunk your 6&8 hundred.

You been reading foreign assembly manuals Chuck?๐ Had knee replacement last week and I read over that sentence and thought my meds were playing tricks on me. No, just you!๐

I heard this on the radio a couple weeks ago. Guy buys one share in companies that bug him so they have to send him info and gets a vote, no real results of coarse but somewhat gratifying. ๐ And i agree that button is genuine you know what. They should have either did like your mock up of put the rubber buttons underneath the the rest in a line so you could thumb them.

In The Wild Lg24 Dig With Paystreak.
dsb replied to Digalicious's topic in Nokta / Makro Legend Forum
Digger sheath position not for me.๐ -
new X-Terra has one thing in common with the old line, the name. So the coils are not for the EQ, perfect Cant remember the EQ marketing line but "this changes everything" was truer then i'd like. Concerning the 6 & 800 release, quality, customer service and support and all marketing since is enough to make people change brands.

$760 in US dollars, off of meteldetectingNYC . Not reality when the vanquish pro pack is $540, eq 600 is $599 and the 700 at $699. vanquish340 with multi IQ is 200 bucks. ๐

Beat me to it phrunt, more ether coils and answers
-
And no obvious lineup. ๐ Must be about moving everything they can to the new pod. Vanquish will be like the smart red headed step child.

Thanks TroyE i would like you owners to start a new topic. It's a new horse and will take some time to get the rigging figured out. Good luck to all M/C owners and keep us updated.

Trying that too but nothing yet. Seems like a backward move without SMF. Go-find deluxe๐
-
Good luck charm for commercial driver/pilots i think, might be 1930's, Really like it and it cleaned up great.

You really should of stepped up to the Go-Find 60๐ You could link it to your phone๐ The 60 was a pinball machine display wise, distracting. Sold that one very soon.
