George Kinsey replied to George Kinsey's topic in Minelab X-Terra Forum
It also works on my Manticore . -
Everything works with no noise issue. Trond 2in one receiver and Monoprice Bluetooth 5 headphone with aptx low latency. Total spent 65.00.

Just Picked Up The X-Terra Pro

I really like the detector. May keep it around for a week or so. Just me. Hard not to like. I'm a tall man and it will extend just fine. A little top heavy with the stock coil. More later. -
The Coiltek elliptical and Nox coils will not work at high sensitivity settings at 5kHz. Detector goes bonkers. Lowered it to 16 is about as high as it will go. 10 and 15 kHz no problem. My favorite program to use is Beach 1 at 8kHz. Sweet. Will use this one on dirt tomorrow.

Yes they must. I may still use the Legend or Equinox headphones.

Returning the wireless receiver which has noise issues and buying the Trond Receiver. I have Trond Wireless Headphone so maybe this combo will work. Fingers crossed.

Not a good match so far. Getting feedback from the coil cable and control box using the Legend Headphones.
-
The transmitter is very sensitive to the detector's coil cable and control box. You will need to find a place to mount it so you don't hear the noise. Will take it outside and try again.
-
Getting every thing charged up now. Will report what I find out tonight. Will also try some nox coils and the coiltek.Later

Just Picked Up The X-Terra Pro

Just curious about how it will handle high ground minerals and how it will compare to some of my classic detector's such as my IDX Pro with Mr. Bill's mods. I also want to compare it to my Quest Q 30+. -
Thanks for sharing.

I wish I could show you my early digs from 69 to 2010. Only my Virginia friends would know. Water under the bridge now. Keep digging friend. George. -

Agree 100%. When in Rome dress like the Romans. I wear a John Deere Hat at Farm locations and carry an extra as a thank you. More proper dress at a more modern site. If a lady opens the door, remember, "chicks still dig me", easy. -
Very sad to hear.R.I.P. my friend.
