Tom and John The odd thing is you both are standing on the same side telling how great your detector is. Now don't look but you will find that both are made by White's. John saying how great the MXT for him made by White's. Tom is posting what others is saying how great the MX Sport is and believe it or not but it too is made by White's.. The post that Tom posted has my first detector a BFO with three tubes and it was great detector for it's time. Don't get me wrong about this I'm not all sugar and spice. But things come too he who waits. I'm waiting Chuck

Tom If it comes out that way you won't hear from me again until the MX Sport 2 comes out. Then the only question I'll have is how long will it take to get one.. You know the dance we had about the number on the ground balance on what's high and what's low. Well Tyler and I are having the same dance of what's right. My second MX Sport will arrive at White's tomorrow. If it gets there in time it may go under the knife to put in a pacemaker. Now White's call this a firmware update. I hope this will also correct the problem I'm having with the low pinpoint tone. I just want it to work and I don't care how they do it but just give me the end results I want. All my MX Sport that I have had all sing Willie Nelson song On the road again. What I want to hear is a old song too and that's I back in the saddle again. Not shoot out of it. If I had the equipment I too make a video when I get my MX Sport back. One thing about this post it has almost 6 thousand views and counting. Remember tomorrow is D day. Chuck

John I believe that is the silver Digger Bob relocated for a guy. I have a friend has the same problem of having too many big silver bars. I know where just the spot he put them if he don't go move his treasure again. Things like that is why it's so much treasure to find. If something would happen to his and no one knows about it makes for another treasure story. I've told my wife to write out a check of all the money I got and put it in the box with me when I die. Boy is she going to be surprise when I cash it. Chuck.

You got to be like a Timex take a licking and keep on ticking. If it was easy everybody would be doing it. Over the years I've made coin hunting pay for it's self but I've yet do the same for nugget hunting. It would help if I could move gold country to Texas. The Best Chuck

That is one big rock and at 70 million I''l stay home.haha I'd like to find one that big in gold. That would put a bigger smile on my face than the rock. How many detectors could I buy if I had that much money to spend ? Chuck

Tom I for one knows White's will go the extra mile to help the customer. I'm living proof of it . All the people that has to do anything with White's has yet to give me a answer of no. The funny thing even I was getting tired of me but White's was still there to help. Where else will you find a company is willing to pay your shipping both ways. I never found one before White's. Tom the best thing you done for a lot of us when you posted the site we can go to for info. This will give us a quick start when we get in the field on the best settings. Oh I'm sure we'd find them over time and each of us need to pass on our findings too. Like said the people at White's must take sweet pills everyday. Other would have told you here is some string and a kite now go fly it. Chuck PS When something new in a detector comes out I just can't sit back I've got to get my feet wet.

Hi Terry On the second detector I got I was upset that it didn't have the firmware update. I did find you didn't get a pinpoint tone.You know that's the loudest point of the tone at pinpoint. The odd thing I didn't notice this when testing with the 10 inch coil. The thing is you will still get a depth reading. Now White's is not going to give me a third detector but update the second one. I can't say if this will fix the pinpoint problem but I can hope. I've ordered the 9.5 concentric coil that will come back with the MXS. Why well I just want to give it a try. All DD coils have their place but here I've never had the need for one. When I go out to gold country I'll have on one of the DD coils. Best to you Chuck

Rico Your MX Sport may have a rain coat on but remember sugar melts so do like I do and that's don't get wet.Haha Power lines like that will even make you light up. You just won't find too many detector working up power that size and the level of induction that they give off. I had to go back and read what you said again. I wasn't sure that you did say the MX Sport works great under them. It was said that the 9.5 concentric is a good coil too and I wanted to try one. Will when my MX Sport get back to me I've ordered one to come back with it..That's just another thing I'll have to report on. It would have been better maybe in the long run if I'd ordered the package White's offer. The thing was the package wasn't out at the time when I got my MXS. I wanted the 6 x 10 right away with the MXS. and I buy a gun case I like for all my detectors. This case is black with big pockets and just about anything will fit in them. I get them from Academy Sports and if you watch you can get them on sale Rico that info is not going to help you any but just want to pass it on for who may be of interest. I don't know why time pass so slow when you want something to get back to you. You can get it sooner but the cost goes up too. The Best Chuck.

John Not this Sunday but the next one I'll turn 75 without my play toy. I know as you read this tears is just running down your face.Me no but you got a softer heart than I. Do remember this Sunday is Mothers Day and we all got one. My Mother will turn 94 this year and she looks younger than her son. When I get a hand on my MX Sport that knock at your door will be me. I'm coming over there and dig up every coin in the country. Now that's anyone with a date of two hundred years past. In good heart I can't take them all from you. Here I'm happy just to find a coin over a hundred years pass. I've seen a small commit when some of us talk about a coin we call old. In the northeastern states they do find older coins than I can here in Texas. That's states where America came to be and one can find some old old coins. We got so many great people on here. It's too bad we can't meet face to face but that's not to be. The Best to You Chuck

John I can tell in your typing voice that you are not sure what I'm doing is the correct thing. I know I've been swinging my Eagle 2 so long I too may need a firmware update. I think you will agree with me on doing something so long it's hard to make a change. Others that would give my Eagle a try would say that thing is a joke next to a real detector. The thing is that joke has been my friend and a hunting partner for a very long time. Now here I am picking up a new detector and I have to put aside all what i knew before. I hope I can say in 6 months the MX Sport is got to be the best detector I've hunted with. I don't plan to go back to compare the two detectors. That's where I'm at. Chuck

You can go write this down on the bathroom wall and be sure to put the date. Chuck Anders is not trading his MX Sport off for a MXT ALL PRO. Yes you heard right. I'm going to stay with the MX Sport and come hell are high water I'll make it work for me. I know the other detector is great but I just don't like half analog and the other digital. I'm saying it's all are nothing as in digital. I sent the MX Sport back for the firmware update today and they will have it in their hot little hands by Tuesday of next week. I don't know if something has been said about this but I am. One of the big things going for the MX Sport is it's all digital and I know that's why I like my Eagle 2 so much. Too many times I've been nugget hunting and look down to find one of my knobs is off.on my PI detector. The headphone cord is the cause of this trouble most of the time but it leaves you wondering just how long has it been that way. Over time a knob can get off by just hitting your detector on your leg. It will get off by setting it down hard on the ground. Just any kind of shock to the detector will cause the knobs to turn some as it get age on it You may know the fix but I'll tell you anyway. Buy some small O-Rings and put one under each knob so it will drag on the O-Ring as you turn it. It's too bad that couldn't be a fix for us as we get older. For me I wish all detectors would be digital. You look at the MX Sport face I don't see anyway dirt could get into it. I'd think it would be easy to may one that's digital waterproof than one with all the knobs sticking out. I know it's detector out there that have all kind of knobs on them and work great in water. The sun and age affect us all and it will them too. Don't let my trouble I've had cause you not to buy the MX Sport. I've been known to be wrong but I think my first detector had trouble other than the firmware update. Then I get the second one and it didn't have the firmware update too. Things can happen to a person one has no control over but that's okay I'm still waking up on the green side of the grass. Chuck

So we here in the US want to stop dredging because the mercury in our water. You get people to sign a paper and they don't know what end is up let along what they signing are what's behind it You get a dredge in a river and it's going to pickup that mercury that's in it. You get a lot of people dredging in that same river and in a short time that river will be free of mercury. You won't find any dredger throw that mercury away because it's got gold in it. Tom I too was just looking at the MXT All Pro with the 9'5 coil and I'll need that 5.3 small coil but not a DD one. You didn't take me to raise and I'll pay whatever the difference is. I like the big screen to look at but I haven't had trouble with the small one on the Eagle.. I thank you for putting up with me and I know you and White's have done everything to make it right. Chuck PS Remember I do have the 6 x 10 DD and it only fits the MX Sport. .

Tom The firmware update didn't totally fix the other MX Sport and I don't think another will be a fix either. The 10 inch coil was so noisy even with the new firmware update you really can't use it. I'm not the only one that has said that. I'll take a loss but if I send this MX Sport back I don't want another. I just don't want to spend the next two years of my warranty sending it back. I'll be more than willing to take a loss and pay the difference of another detector. Like said before I need a good coin detector and nothing else. The waterproof part on the MX Sport just sounded good to have but i CAN DO WITHOUT IT. Thank You Chuck

Well Tonya from Treasure Electronics in Ok. has went on vacation. The lady that did answer the phone said she really didn't know and it would be best for me to call White's. I believe Tom and Tyler will read this today and will contact me. If not for any reason they don't I'll send them a PM on here and they always answer. They may not like what we say but they have never turn their back on us. Here I am again I like the MX Sport but I don't want it with all the bugs it got. I don't want it back until everything is fixed. The trouble is I don't want to have to wait how ever long that takes. I need a coin detector now not a month are a year from now. I order this one 3-14-16 so you can see I've been at this a long time. For the time I've had the MX Sport has been spent testing not coin hunting. Now with the new one here I'm again testing. Right now I'll do without a waterproof detector and won't get my feet wet. Just give me a great coin detector and I won't darken your door again. If I want to beach hunt I've got PI detectors to do that and one is waterproof. Chuck.
