Well guys this may be the one we’ll never know. The trouble is if one got it right we wouldn’t know it . When you call it a unknown and can live with it let me know. What I’ll do is put all the names who played in a pot and draw from that . We’ll call them them the winner. Ok ? Chuck

TDI Beach Hunter Deep Big Bling Ring
Ridge Runner replied to Gerry in Idaho's topic in White's Metal Detectors
Hey Gerry That’s one great find ! It’s a fact that the man is no better than the detector he’s swinging in front of him . At the same time you need to know what your detector is telling you . The BeachHunter is just another great product put out by White Electronic. It’s a song that says You ain’t seen nothing yet and I believe the same will apply for White’s in 2019 . Chuck -
Calling All Electronic Buffs And Programmers
Ridge Runner replied to Ridge Runner's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
Steve I know it’s nothing free in this world and I don’t think this would be either. Time travel back when White’s came out with the Eagle 2 and if you had the Eagle White’s would update it. Then just like magic you had a Eagle 2. The cost back then was a 125.00. They could charge you for every update but they don’t. Chuck -
We see new detectors on the market that offer to run in one frequency at a time. They have several to offer like the new XP ORX. In my opinion I think they can come back at a later day and have a update that could give you a multi frequency to run at one time like the Nox. Back in time it was turn on and go but as we all know today that don’t hold true anymore. That detector has a brain that we can access and I say if I set it up before for a change then I can come later to make that change. I want your opinion so lay it on me . Chuck

I’d have to say that the Equinox 800 is knocking at the door of doing it! At my time in life I think the Nox would do me well! I don’t see myself getting to nugget hunt as much as I would like because of the long trip to get there . I’m waiting to see what 2019 has to offer but if it don’t look great I’ll just buy me another Equinox 800 . If Minelab had the small coil I’d never sold my Nox in the first place . I didn’t say I was the smartest rock in the box . Chuck

BeachHunter You’re right about him calling me Pop and the kid really knows his Nox . Chuck

New XP Orx Features & Settings / Mi6 Compatibility
Ridge Runner replied to Steve Herschbach's topic in XP Metal Detectors
Steve With a wide spectrum of frequencies it has to offer but I assume you can only operate in one at a time . The 9.5X5 coil would equal about a 7” round coil if you take into account how this has been figured in the past . Chuck -
Steve I got a email from Deus last night and they said the ORX will be available by the end of November. I had the XP and it was a great detector but my problem was having to charge everything. That’s a great price and they saying a five year warranty. I wonder if anyone will top are equal the same warranty time in 2019 ? One thing for sure they getting a jump on what’s new in 2019. Chuck

phrunt Us just say a detector company give you all you want and maybe more. Now the really big thing is just how much are you will to pay for it . Something else you said that I didn’t think of before that had to do with EMI . Being we riding this wish wagon it would be great to cut out a KHz that was effective by EMI , Chuck
-
Steve If I spit in one hand and wish in the other I know what will get full the fastest . The thing is I’m still going to rub that lamp I found on the beach and wish . I guess like so many times I don’t make myself clear on what I’m referring to. I was referring to KHz detecting in not ID numbers . You ever heard the term The squeaky Wheel Gets The Most Grease ? Well I’m that wheel! Chuck

The big thing one detector company open up in 2018 is a milt frequency. You can pick one at a time are all numbers at one time. I believe that all other detector companies has to make this their goal too . I know this is putting the cart before the horse but what frequency numbers do you want to see in the new White’s in 2019 ? I myself want it more for coin hunting. I still would like to see some high numbers. I want it for small gold if I find myself on a beach are in the gold fields . Yes I do want to pick what I want to hunt in be one are all . I hope someone from White’s will chime in just to say they haven’t forgot about us faithful ones . Chuck

This story is about a guy I call a friend. He had his car stolen with his detector in it . About the same our paths crossed. Being he wanted another detector I told him what Minelab would have to offer soon . I said I’m sure if he can wait it would be worth it . A dealer friend after finding out what happen to his other detector he gave 10 percent off his Nox 800. Oh yes he has a name and that is Tony. I think Nox Nut fits him better. My trouble is he calls me Pop being I got some years on him . One picture you see his Nox in the water. At that time he had the stock coil on and he’s got foam around it to keep it afloat. The coins you see was found with both coil . He hasn’t had the 6” coil long but he really loves it. Chuck

I myself didn’t buy but just one detector and that was a Equinox 800 . I found it to be a great detector for coin hunting and that’s the reason I bought it . The first thing I done was print the owners manual full size for easy reading. I never found the Nox a problem to run . If you had the instruction manual and you could read plus understand you were good to go . The only trouble I did have was with the on and off switch. I’d had it having to wait on the 6” coil so I sold it . I told the guy about the switch when I sold it . He used it for a while but called Minelab and they fixed it . I guess it was in trouble from day one . Right now I’m just going to sit back and see what 2019 has to offer. Chuck PS Everyone who post here puts their name in for a hard cover book on Rocks and Minerals. I will ship free to anyone on this earth. You can post as much as you want but your name only goes in one time for the drawing This will end on November 16 at 6 PM CST

White’s What Have You Got For 2019
Ridge Runner replied to Ridge Runner's topic in White's Metal Detectors
El Nin077 I’m with you if they can pressure treat it with helium. I’d look funny swinging a detector with helium balloons tied to it . It’s another detector company in another land will set the world on fire come 2019 . Another has done that in 2018 and I don’t think they will be willing to step aside to let another pass. I’m not saying that it hadn’t been a great years for White’s and I want it even better for them in 2019. Chuck
