 From the time i had my first White's ID detector you can take  a hand full of gold rings and they all will fall into the trash area. Anything that hits in the high and low range of ID 20 you need to dig it.

  Before we had ID I found more rings than I ever did with the one that did. I think in away having a detector with ID has made us lazy to some degree.

 Just maybe a detector with more tone ID's can give us all of what you want. I need to move up to something other than my eagle 2 but it's been my best friend  for a long time. I know if I'm calling a detector friend I do need to get a life. Well it's never been in for repairs and never let me down in the field.

i don't care what game you play ( model detector ) or what door you pick it's all good for 2016. The latest video on a new detector does more for me than the picture of that model above.

 For the people that like swinging a detector in 2016 then this is the year for you. The best thing you can do is sit back and enjoy the ride.

On md-hunter its says that Garrett has added a ( i ) after each number. At first look without firing it up you can't see the difference. It's all in the new software in more ways than one  If you want to learn more I'll let you go look for yourself.

 The only dealings I've had with Garrett Ace was when I got the 200 for my Grandson. I was surprise to see what the Ace 200 had to offer for the money.

 More new for 2016.

I just talk with one of the dealer they show here in San Antonio Tx..He did have one of the ones that first came out but it was under powered. It was better on the road than off. He said he thinks the newer models may have more power with two motors but less run time. I was told to check back with him in June and just maybe he'll have one then.

I think most on here knew about the trouble I was having with my new Nokta Fors Gold Plus detector. The first thing Nokta done was send me a new handle being I didn't have numbers displaying on it. They paid shipping both ways but that didn't fix it Remember this company is over six thousand away. This Monday Nokta sent me a new handle and control box all the way from Turkey and I got it today. Well I'm seeing numbers on the handle I'd never seen before. Here again Nokta paid shipping to me and the same going back.

 If for any reason you're not sure about putting your hard earn money down on a detector. Well this company called Nokta and people like Dilek has been there all the way for me. I say put your worries aside because this company makes a quality product. 

  You've heard companies say they stand behind their detector. Well Nokta stood behind it and right up front willing whatever it took to make a customer happy.

 I've said this in another post and that this is the first company to pay all shipping. I could have gone around the world for all the shipping Nokta has paid out for.

  With me sending back the defective control box Nokta can find the problem. making sure it don't happen again too others..

Well everyone I'll get a new detector by the end of next week. Nokta has paid the shipping both ways and will do the same on this one too

 In all my years of detecting never has a company paid to ship both ways. Right now I'm looking forward to the Impact coming out.

To all who have Nokta Gold or Core I want to hear from you. My question is there a setting on the control box that would stop a number display on the LCD on the handle? My thinking is that all ID numbers that shows up on the control box screen  should  show up the same on the LCD handle. Reading the manual I can't find what I may be doing wrong.

 If you can think of anything I'm all ears.

I got the new handle from Nokta today and it's not a fix.In other post I've said the trouble may be coming from the control box. Why I was thinking this was because you had LED's in the handle that lite up. This tells me you got battery and ground to the handle. You have to have some type of sending unit in the control box that just wasn't doing it's job. When they said send the handle back I said okay Nokta made it and they should know more about electronics than I do.

 I must say I've made bad calls so I can't kick Nokta for this one. The bad thing is this detector is a long ways from home and I don't wish to send it to Kellyco.

It's been said the proof is in the pudding. What you show Steve on the chart we'll get more bang for our buck with Racer Gold.

 I just wonder if other detector companies are taking notice of what's being shown. The cheaper detectors in my opinion have no place for us that been at it for a long time. Even I must say I've got the Go Find 60 but that's because the kid in me pop out. I look so cool out with it and then unfold it. What that does for me is beyond words.Ha

  No I'm waiting on the Nokta Impact in hopes it's more a coin detector.

  I thank you for the great service. i'll have the defective  rod headed back when DHL brings my new one. No need to be sorry. Sometimes you think you got it all covered but one will slip by. That's what you call life and we are human.

 When I get the part I can assure you I'll have the detector working  in short order. Hope to reply back it's fixed.

  This is the first detector that came in two parts that I've had. The only reason I'd want the whole detector sent to me being it may not be in the handle. Nokta is a long way from the US and if this is not a fix then I've got to wait it out again for the control box.

 Chris is a great guy and he didn't tell me to go suck a egg. With me if I can get the help like Nokta is offering then I don't need the help from a dealer. I'm not much on second hand info being I'm a big boy and I can do it myself

 You talk about MFG. selling their own product. That may work for some but as a whole I don't think so.. Too many people want to get their hands on a detector before they buy. Like the Nokta I'm going on the word of others that have one.

 Yes I put my money down about a month before I got the detector. I not wanting more than what I paid for . Year ago I had a dealership from White's I too didn't let a detector go until it was checked out. The trouble with me I was like a kid in a candy store and didn't want to let it go.

I sent Nokta my address like they requested Monday. This morning I get a text from  DHL saying they have my detector ;part and I'll get it on Friday. I've never had a detector that came in two parts. This is the thing that makes me uneasy but I got to put my faith in Nokta. I'm sure they have been down the same road before.

 I need to send the handle I have to them but going to check that comes with my new handle. The address that's came with the detector is longer than my arm. I just don't want it to get lost in space and never come down to earth in the right place

 I can't be spending my time thinking about that anymore. The Nokta Impact will be out in 2016 and I need to spend my time thinking about it.

   It's May the force of the Fors Gold Plus be with you.HaHa I can't say I've never had to send a detector back but never new out of the box.

 About this detector I'd just like to been told to send it back to the dealer and sent another one. I don't care what the problem is I just a working detector. I don't care to be in the loop of finding their trouble. My money wasn't defective.when I sent it to the dealer.

 I'm sure I'll be happy with the detector when it's fixed. I don't think I've heard you say a bad word about Nokta detectors. Don't get me wrong I was not happy with a detector new out of the box with trouble. It's a first for me of the 45 years I've been swinging one. So I guess you could say I was due one.Ha

  I've always got a backup. Like a 4500 , SPP ,GMZ and did have a Gold Big Pro. I sold the Pro to buy this one. Oh forgot about the Infinium LS and the SDC 2300 but sold it. I collect detectors like a friend collects guns. If you ever need a two box detector I have a Fisher too.

  If I sold all my detectors the walls of my house would fall in.

Well I got a email from Nokta and they will send me a new handle and I will send them the defective one. They want to see just what the trouble is. I hope the problem is in the handle and not in the control box. What I could tell is everything works correct on it. Now only time will tell.

 I think if it was me I'd send both that has been tested but it's their cat and they can skin it like they want.

  If check all detectors you send out first your doing the buyer a great service. I guess most don't think a new in the box detector would come with trouble. I didn't think so but I've been prove wrong.

 I'd like to see a new detector sent to me being this one never got out the door. When I seen it had a problem that's where I stop. I couldn't see myself having to look at the side of the control box and the light only comes on when you change the settings.

You can see this detector is top quality made. Lots better than some I've had in the past. Some how this problem is getting pass them but it shouldn't. I'm going to email them now and hope this will help fix a problem they didn't know it was one till now.

    I thank you so much for offer of a detector if I was near. Some people like to buy guns but me I buy detectors. So I do have a backup.

 I will let you know what my out come will be. The pins was the first thing I checked and then the plug. All looked good with nothing loose when put them together.

 I'll talk with Chris tomorrow to find out where I go from here.

  This is the first time a new detector came out of the box with trouble. I hope I do have better luck than you. I'm one that don't give up are give in.

  I know what you say but at the same time I've heard good things about Nokta..

Yes Steve the display on the side of the control box works great. So far I can't find anything wrong with it. Like I said when detecting in Gen and get a ID number on the box but nothing on the handle screen. It will light up and that's all I get.

 I hope Nokta can say the trouble is in handle or the control box. I hate to have to send the complete detector back.. It's their call.

PS I want everyone to know this detector as one can see it's well made. I really like the looks it's just when it's you that has trouble it gets personal.
