What I’m thinking is if I start rejecting too many bottle caps I’ll never dig another quarter again. I’ll say this much up front I do not have a Legend. Chuck

Fisher Zts Pulse Induction Nail Bed Test
Ridge Runner replied to RONS DETECTORS MINELAB's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
You know Steve I should have remembered that being I had one of the first two hundred TDI’s that came out Whites door. I remember the first time I used it was on a beach in Mississippi and it had nails everywhere but worked great cutting them out. Chuck -
Fisher Zts Pulse Induction Nail Bed Test
Ridge Runner replied to RONS DETECTORS MINELAB's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
It’s said seeing is believing but I’m not so sure about what I just seen to believe it. For Fisher I hope it is true. Who knows Texas may be first in some way but that’s to be seen. Chuck -
Interview And Q & A With Dimitar Gargov Of Tarsacci
Ridge Runner replied to detectorstuff's topic in Tarsacci Metal Detectors
The Tarsacci needed a better stand to start with but it’s not too late to correct that problem on the next Tarsacci.. Chuck -
Interview And Q & A With Dimitar Gargov Of Tarsacci
Ridge Runner replied to detectorstuff's topic in Tarsacci Metal Detectors
This is another something I’d like to see and that’s make the ID from 0 to 99 . This would make the Tarsacci numbers reading about the same as other detectors using the same numbers setup. Lowering the price of the Tarsacci wouldn’t make me mad either. That’s just something else to think about. Chuck -
Interview And Q & A With Dimitar Gargov Of Tarsacci
Ridge Runner replied to detectorstuff's topic in Tarsacci Metal Detectors
I’d like to be able to notch out what I want not with the plus are minus that we have now. I’d like to be able to adjust the tones volume. On this I’m talking about when in discrimination the tone is more like two clicks more than a tone . I don’t see this problem in mix mode. Please don’t go with a internal battery. That’s the first thing I like about the Tarsacci is I can take the battery out. People may think it’s great with the battery inside their detector but with my Tarsacci I can take the battery out and forget it for as long as I want. Like others on here I’d want a smaller coil. I’ve always found the trouble with a large coil in a high trash area you get too many targets under your coil at one time. I’m not saying a small coil is going to resolve your trash problem but it helps. Chuck -

Some Interesting News From Quest Detectors
Ridge Runner replied to DSMITH's topic in Quest Metal Detectors
I for one don’t want to use my cell phone other than making calls. I get enough calls on my phone from my wife when I’m in the field and I sure an heck don’t want her calling on my detector . Chuck -

New Video Quest V80 (this One Is In English)
Ridge Runner replied to DSMITH's topic in Quest Metal Detectors
I’m still not so sure about the tone are what we call the sound of it when it detected something. I guess it’s just some difference about them than other detectors. He was talking about power to the coil but I think it’s been said before that the FCC has a limit of what that can be . That’s in the USA for sure . DSMITH I’ll be right here ready to view more videos when you post them . Thanks again! Chuck -
New Video Quest V80 (this One Is In English)
Ridge Runner replied to DSMITH's topic in Quest Metal Detectors
DSMITH I was in my car headed home when I seen you posted a new video and I couldn’t wait so had it come on my car speakers. The tones on my car speakers sounded like scratching on a blackboard. So here I go again to see what it sounds out just off my phone. Thanks for posting. Chuck -
When you first turn your Tarsacci on you will see at bottom that it says Serial Number and on mine the last three digits is 197. I’m assuming it’s telling me that mine is the 197 one made. I know I’ll never know the total number of Tarsacci’s in the field but if you will please post the number yours says it is . It would be interesting just to know how many is out there. Thanks! Chuck

Original Tarsacci Forum Interview W Dimitar Gargov
Ridge Runner replied to Aaron's topic in Tarsacci Metal Detectors
Aaron to start off I thank you for for posting the first part of the interview. With your interview and the one that’s yet to come both will be interesting. I’ve said this before in a comparison if I buy a new car 5 years ago and buy another now I want the new one to have something new that the other didn’t have. Right now I can buy lots of detectors at half the price of the Tarsacci. If we look around us more is coming. I can’t say with all they offer that their better than the Tarsacci but they giving me something new at again half the price. Today if I go buy a new Tarsacci it’s really not new because it’s the same as the one I bought back when. I can’t say I’ll use all what some other detector offer but like the radio in my car I never listen to it’s there if I have are want it . I’ll never sell my Tarsacci that I have now because I like it but I don’t see myself spending the same money for the same thing again. Chuck- 1 reply

Big Show In Germany This Weekend
Ridge Runner replied to GB_Amateur's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
My trouble on all theses new detectors they talk about coming out soon is I find myself not just out of but totally out of money. I’ve bought traded and what ever else you want to call it I’ve done it to get something else. I’m almost to the point of not having a pot to pee in are a window to throw it out. All together now Poor Chuck. Hahaha -
Gerry If I was dreaming I would have made her a little more top heavy than you did. Another thing I can’t swim good so she wouldn’t been no mermaid. That picture fits a story I’m about to tell you. Two guys was going hunting together and one guy wanted to take his wife but the other guy said she will just mess up our hunting trip. The one guy took her anyway. After a couple of Mornings the guy found his wife in the bedroll with his friend. The other guy told the other I told you your wife was going to mess up our hunting trip. Chuck

I see two reviews on the Axiom and the Legend. Both read is in the field getting down and getting dirty. It’s not someone sitting bye the fire blowing smoke but eating a little dirt while talking about each. It looks as if it could have some other good read’s depending on what tickles your fancy. I know for myself I haven’t had my fancy tickled in a long line. Chuck PS I’m going to miss the GPAA Gold Show’s

Ridge Runner replied to Bill (S. CA)'s topic in Detector Prospector Forum
Bill I don’t remember who first showed them here but I liked the looks of them .The person in question said he got them from Amazon. I too found them on Amazon and ordered a pair. They have three different ones and the cost a dollar difference. I haven’t been in the field but they fit and feel good. Here is pictures and I hope this helps. Chuck -
