Good morning Doc I’ve never had the need for a hip stick so I don’t know if the shaft is round or flat. In the picture below is maybe something would work and be adjustable for different ones. The piece in the middle could take flat are round shafts and could be as long enough to fit everyone.Due to the pull on whatever you make it’s going to pull out from the body so it will automatically turn out in the direction of the weight. You would have to think on the way to adjust the shafts.If the shafts had holes in them about a inch apart then you could run a pin in the middle of the sleeve. Just to show you I used pvc hot water 1/2 inch . The shafts came from my wife’s little wind mills. haha

Guys nobody happy with a price increase. I’m not happy when I go to the the grocery store and it’s costing me more to live. I do know if I can’t afford one detector it’s others in line that wants my business and I have more than one of them in the other room plus Minelab standing next to them. I can’t see what the future brings but we can only take it a day at a time and do what’s best for each one of us. I say the best to each and everyone of you. Chuck

What you see is the look alike of his big brother that comes stock with the Vista X . To answer your question before you ask no I haven’t had the opportunity to try it out due it’s been colder than a well diggers butt here since I got. I did do some air test but it was more for checking the discrimination being I don’t put too much value on air testing. I’ll report back when I’ve got something to say on the Vista X and this coil. In the day when people didn’t trust banks they had what you call posthole banks. I can assure you that they didn’t put it down so deep that they couldn’t get it up in a short time without killing them selves. Sometimes they needed to get out are to put some in. Finding the place they stashed it is your problem. I know of one guy had cattle pens that was made of wood post and he was going to replace them with metal post . His wife told her mother what he planned and before long here goes her mother with a shovel. She watched her dig something up near a post and then came back to the house with 12 silver dollars she had burrowed but didn’t know when. Just don’t know where that next treasure may lay. Chuck

If you get your hands on a detector that you think will do the job on what you want it for try this first. It’s cheap and simple and will save you time on knowing if you got the right detector. First you will need a hand post hole diggers .With it you can dig a hole straight down that’s if the ground is not too hard. The next thing if you got some old balls ⚽️ of different sizes. The last is aluminum foil that you going to wrap the balls 🏀 in. It’s like Steve said about a stash will be compact. It could be in a fruit jar 🫙 and if you were lucky it could have one of the old old lids on it.It’s no limit in what type of container you will find that hoard in I’m sure you can see that the balls of different sizes represents the treasure that may lay under feet. If you had two balls of each size this way you could place each at different depths. In this way you going to know what’s in range of your detector detecting it . This may sound like a lot of work but after you will know if you got the right equipment. Be sure to place the holes far apart so not to be picking up a signal from another while checking one target. Some got a coin test garden but you will have maybe the only treasure stash garden. Best to you! Chuck

The story I’m about to tell you may be the same thing with Tarsacci. This old cowboy had been in this bar drinking all day long and was higher than a kite . Two of his friends that’s if you want to call them that said let’s go turn Joe’s saddle around on his horse. Well they did and was waiting for a big laugh when Joe left. It was around midnight when Joe had his fill and out that barroom door he went. By then everyone in the bar knew what his friends had done and all was having a laugh about it. All of a sudden Joe came staggering back in the bar hollowing that someone had cut his horses head off and he’s still alive.Someone in the bar said Joe if someone cut your horses up off he can’t be alive. Joe said I know he’s still alive because I stuck my finger in his windpipe and he’s still breathing. Maybe this is what’s wrong with Tarsacci in someone could have turned Dimitars saddle around on Tarsacci and no I didn’t stick my finger in his windpipe to see if he’s still breathing. Aaron I know you did like you said long time ago but I was still in hopes he would. I really don’t see Dimitar coming out with anything. I think that should cover it all with my above statement. Aaron when you were a dealer and you making the videos that you did that made Tarsacci. I’ve yet to see one video that Dimitar made on it . It’s like he could care less It’s just too many new detectors that’s coming out that show they want your business and I’m willing to give it to them. Detectors and cars have something in common in if a car looked the same from year to year it would get to the point they wouldn’t be selling. The same goes with a detector in you got to add a bell and whistle now and then to keep sales up . Chuck

Goldseeker You would have been better off to let someone hold your feet and let you down head first because it just wasn’t much room like you said to dig. Like I told Gerry when he was digging and it too was a nugget. Watching the video I wanted you to get out of my way because you wasn’t digging fast enough for me. Gold Ryder It would be not true if I said I never had a slip of the tongue and that dog can be like a wife a pain in the backside. Jim Now you got me started and this took place in Thule Greenland when I was in the Air Force. When it got total darkness in the winter it was nothing to be -65 below without any wind . With any wind a 100 below was nothing. You always never got too far away a building because a storm could come up quickly. One time a storm came up in about 30 minutes lasted 3 days blowing at 150 with gust that hit around 175 miles a hour. I can truly say I’ve been to the North Pole . One time in a C 47 and a double blade Helicopter . I was there between 64 to 65 . Chuck I love trapping and I’d do it each winter but nothing cold like that. Most people wouldn’t know what a blue hide is.

John I’ve seen it so cold that I had to put one sleeping bag in another trying to keep warm. Even then I wasn’t sure that I wasn’t going to freeze to death. Chuck

You go buy some of that so good tasting stuff you going have to put a fair amount of money out . It good if you setup to make your own but it still don’t make it cheap just cheaper. Chuck

One thing about it John it adds up over time and that’s why I’ll stop to pickup a penny. Sometime back I wrote a article and my statement was How a nugget can hide behind a grain of black sand . I think I wrote that article of dredging in Colorado. I just said that because I see all those nuggets you got in your pan . Chuck

If people would remember do not step over a rock but step on top of it and then step out away from that rock. Bye stepping over that rock you putting your leg right in front of that snake and he’s going to get you. Bye stepping on top of that rock and step a ways off you have a good chance of being out of range of that snake hitting you. The best investment you will ever make is buy yourself some good snake guards. Above all boots is the only thing you need be wearing nugget hunting. Chuck

Guys I found out long ago that a little of something is better than a lot of nothing. Now I’m not saying you should be happy with it but for now I guess anything is better than nothing.
