Do I Trust My Manticore In The Water?
Ridge Runner replied to phrunt's topic in Minelab Manticore Forum
It was said on the other forum something as long it’s in warranty. Even then it’s still down time for you. I guess for the ones who water hunt had best plan on selling it before the warranty runs out. You could keep the one that’s the warranty has run out as a land detector and a new one for the water . When a warranty is out you going to take a big hit on one without some warranty no matter what. Chuck PS The other like the Nox 900 are Manitcore 2 -

It don’t just look messy it is messy. With the number of 800’s drowning you would think checking that seal would be double checked. Chuck -
New Smf Quest V80 And V60 Detectors
Ridge Runner replied to Matt4gold's topic in Quest Metal Detectors
I just text serious detecting letting them know the interest on the V 80 here and ask for whoever to come over to maybe add more of what we’ve heard . True field testing is going to tell what we all want to know . That’s just a lot of talk are the detector can talk for it’s self bye showing what it’s got. Chuck -

I have seen that same thing before but just can’t remember where. It fits over a nut of some kind but it’s not a fake . Big help I am but it’s been a long time ago. Chuck -

Now you have the excuse your detector can’t be fixed so I believe you deserve a new one. Why not try Garrett Axiom. If you’re married and she says that’s too much money just say honey you’re right I go buy a bass boat. I’ll tell you now Rest In Peace! Chuck -

I’d say take a look inside just maybe a bad connection . That would be my first option and the other is replace it. That’s the trouble we get into when the company has gone out of business. Don’t be apologizing here because you ain’t heard nothing yet until you hear a Texan talk. The Best! Chuck -
At times all of us could use one. The day you dig a old and rare coin you will need something to settle your heart ❤️ down. My mother has had one after a triple bypass at 80 and now pushing 101 this year. The best to you and don’t look back. Chuck

F350Platinum I’m not much different than when I was a kid in school if I liked something I excelled in it .This detector is showing me a lot of interest but the proof is in the pudding. In this case it’s in the field under various condition. That’s what’s next , Hope to see lots more videos. I think it was said it would come out in March and that’s just around the corner. Chuck

For myself I’d like to see a smaller coil in the 9 X 5 range to get in places the larger coils can’t. Chuck -
Slow News Day (whatizit)
Ridge Runner replied to strick's topic in Metal Detecting For Coins & Relics
I’ve had to replace those points on that side cutter and they are flat on the top side. The cutter blade slides on that flat side back and forth. The cutter I had fit on the back of the tractor and used the power lift to put it down to cut . That tractor is what you call a 8N and I had a 9N . All that was many moons ago. Chuck -
I must say it’s very interesting but I’m not sure my pea brain can handle all the info this detector has to offer in settings. Like a dog it could be all bark but the proof will be when it gets in the field. For what I could see the only setting it don’t have is the one that gives the date of the coin before you dig it. Looking forward to seeing more videos on the V 80 . Chuck

I can’t are won’t say when I got a bad case of heat rash that I may do the same thing. The biggest problem I see if you got a question 🙋♂️ Relating to that detector you just put your hard earned money on you will more than likely hear I don’t know but you will find the manual in the box. If I buy from Gerry are any other dealer on here they going to say what can I help you with. I’ll go beyond that even if didn’t get it from Gerry I still believe he will try to help you. I believe Rob has done just that in the past of helping a non buyer. I don’t like paying sales tax and being a vet of the Little Big Horn I also want to get my 15% discount. The two can add up to a fair amount of money. Chuck

That would be a first that a detector company would offer just what the customer wants without having to buy something he she don’t want. Chuck
-
That’s way more than a good percent of other detector companies will do. Thanks for passing it on to us. It will be interesting when the average guy gets his hands on one. Chuck

Tarsacci Cookbook And Best Practices
Ridge Runner replied to The_Stalker's topic in Tarsacci Metal Detectors
Storagebox Aaron has yet to say the why he parted company. It could be just what we’ve been talking about as in no PR no Ad. If I wanted to be a dealer I want to sale more than one ever blue moon because I can’t make a going business doing that. If you got several things going for you that may work but not that alone. I don’t know if you have seen any of Aaron’s videos but he done a great job making them and you could see he put his heart in them. He was doing his best in promoting Tarsacci but you need company backing. We all blowing in the breeze for nothing I guess. Chuck
