  I don’t remember who first showed them here but I liked the looks of them .The person in question said he got them from Amazon. I too found them on Amazon and ordered a pair. They have three different ones and the cost a dollar difference. I haven’t been in the field but they fit and feel good.

People on here is not the only ones that ran into brick wall when it comes to watching Andy Sabisch videos on the V 80 Quest . Checking on other forums if you not a member to Facebook you’re not watching any video.

 DSMITH I do hope Andy heard you and if Quest wants more than a select few see their product they’ll get it off of Facebook.

It was said on the other forum something as long it’s in warranty. Even then it’s still down time for you. I guess for the ones who water hunt had best plan on selling it before the warranty runs out. You could keep the one that’s the warranty has run out as a land detector and a new one for the water .

 When a warranty is out you going to take a big hit on one without some warranty no matter what.

I just text serious detecting letting them know the interest on the V 80 here and ask for whoever to come over to maybe add more of what we’ve heard .

 True field testing is going to tell what we all want to know . That’s just a lot of talk are the detector can talk for it’s self bye showing what it’s got.

In my opinion they all good to great detectors but none are no better than the person behind it. If you haven’t spent the time in the field learning to what your detector is telling you then none is any good to you.

I have seen that same thing before but just can’t remember where. It fits over a nut of some kind but it’s not a fake .

  Now you have the excuse your detector can’t be fixed so I believe you deserve a new one. Why not try Garrett Axiom. If you’re married and she says that’s too much money just say honey you’re right I go buy a bass boat.

I’d say take a look inside just maybe a bad connection . That would be my first option and the other is replace it. That’s the trouble we get into when the company has gone out of business.

 I’m not much different than when I was a kid in school if I liked something I excelled in it .This detector is showing me a lot of interest but the proof is in the pudding. In this case it’s in the field under various condition.

  Hope to see lots more videos. I think it was said it would come out in March and that’s just around the corner.

For myself I’d like to see a smaller coil in the 9 X 5 range to get in places the larger coils can’t.

I’ve had to replace those points on that side cutter and they are flat on the top side. The cutter blade slides on that flat side back and forth. The cutter I had fit on the back of the tractor and used the power lift to put it down to cut . That tractor is what you call a 8N and I had a 9N .

 All that was many moons ago.

I must say it’s very interesting but I’m not sure my pea brain can handle all the info this detector has to offer in settings.

 Like a dog it could be all bark but the proof will be when it gets in the field. For what I could see the only setting it don’t have is the one that gives the  date of the coin before you dig it.

 Looking forward to seeing more videos on the V 80 .

I can’t are won’t say when I got a bad case of heat rash that I may do the same thing.

 The biggest problem I see if you got a question 🙋‍♂️ Relating to that detector you just put your hard earned money on you will more than likely hear I don’t know but you will find the manual in the box.

 If I buy from Gerry are any other dealer on here they going to say what can I help you with. I’ll go beyond that even if didn’t get it from Gerry I still believe he will try to help you. I believe Rob has done just that in the past of helping a non buyer.

 I don’t like paying sales tax and being a vet of the Little Big Horn I also want to get my 15% discount. The two can add up to a fair amount of money.

That would be a first that a detector company would offer just what the customer wants without having to buy something he she don’t want.
