Dimitar Throw The Faithful Few A Bone
Ridge Runner replied to Ridge Runner's topic in Tarsacci Metal Detectors
I have yet to see any ad for the Tarsacci. I know myself if it wasn’t for reading about the Tarsacci on this forum it would have went nonexistent to me . I know ads don’t come cheap but it pays until you get enough customers out there being your ad for you. Aaron done a lot for the Tarsacci bye all the videos he made while a dealer but that went by the wayside after he parted company with Tarsacci. I hope Dimitar can see more than we do as customers in the future of the Tarsacci. I’ve said enough and without Dimitar coming on here I just as well be talking to myself . Chuck -

Dimitar Throw The Faithful Few A Bone
Ridge Runner replied to Ridge Runner's topic in Tarsacci Metal Detectors
Thanks for both of you replying. Chase I stand corrected. Chuck -
I’m just wondering if we’ll see a new Tarsacci this year. If the powers that be do come out with something I do hope the coils will be interchangeable with the Tarsacci we have now. I’m sure until a new one hits the market we won’t know what it has to offer but I’d still like to know will that happen in my life time. I do wish Dimitar would come on here and like I said Throw the faithful few a bone.

New Smf Quest V80 And V60 Detectors
Ridge Runner replied to Matt4gold's topic in Quest Metal Detectors
Right now we have so many new detectors and everybody is waiting on the next person to make a buy . Then we all want them to come back here to tell us is it worth the money. I must say this is another one that’s got lots of tell from the company who makes them but the proof is in the field not in the showroom. Thanks for posting. Chuck -
Ever Regret Buying A Detector?
Ridge Runner replied to strick's topic in Metal Detector Advice & Comparisons
The best words that covers what some of us have had is “If it wasn’t for bad luck we wouldn’t had no luck at all “ What you have to understand is it makes you better but if I get any better I don’t know if I can stand myself. My wife said she can’t stand me already . Isn’t love wonderful? Chuck PS This is my second wife but the guy next door he was on his 10th wife before he died. I just got 8 more to go but at 81 I don’t think I’ll make it. -
I say they can wish in one hand they’ll get their price and spit in the other to see what one gets full the fastest. Stupid me have bought a detector I didn’t need just to say I have one. I’ve ask for a long time that I want one with a digging arm on it . I don’t see one on this detector so I’ll pass on it. Chuck

Ever Regret Buying A Detector?
Ridge Runner replied to strick's topic in Metal Detector Advice & Comparisons
Strick I’ve got a Nox 800 with 6” and the elliptical coil sitting there collecting dust . I knew when I bought it It may be not used for a long time. The problem wasn’t me but with my wife needing surgery. I can say she’s had the surgery but now therapy. Now that 800 is a year old and here’s the 900 . You can see the value of that 800 is just above a roll of toilet paper but can’t use as the same. I guess you could say I’m a slow learner because I’ve done this before and knowing me I’ll do it again. Chuck -
Oneguy I myself in the past bought the next detector from the finds of the first . That’s in reference to coins and jewelry but I can’t say that in relation to nugget hunting. I could correct that problem if I could move Texas nearer to gold country. Now I’d have to say I buy something just for the pleasure of saying I own one than more for the need. New detectors that’s out and some that soon will be showing a lot of interest more than just a few. If I can get more for less money then I ask myself “Then why not give it a try “ Chuck

We all know if and when we buy anything it’s a loss to us because the dealer took a profit. That automatic lowers the value of the item we just bought. The problem for me starts when the price is lowered by the company on the detector I just bought . I just trying to combat this problem of taking of a large loss to a small one. Right now I have a detector with extra two small coils was 1200.00 but if I was to sale I could take a 50 % loss . Now what I’m thinking is if I start buying a lower end detector that offering as much as the high end one. One of the ones I’m talking about is about 600.00 . Even if I take a hit like the high end detector my loss is lots less . I don’t plan on taking a loss to buy another of less price but I will put my thinking cap on before making my next buy . Chuck

Tarsacci and now the Axiom comes in a backpack but for myself they could have put them in a cheap Chinese cardboard box.I’d rather taken difference in cost of a backpack and the cardboard box. I think Minelab should send both a letter of thanks because the only detector that will fit fully assemble is the SDC 2300 . Heck just maybe a guitar sling or one for a gun would work better than having to assemble it each time you want to check out a spot . Chuck

Sorry about that but I thank you for the heads up at your cost. Chuck -
You may be too high tech according to the picture you posted. I for one need lots of help and you may be the one that fits the bill for me. Laying the jokes aside it’s great to have you here and just maybe we can help each other. Feel free to chime in anytime you wish. I got my wife thinking that I know everything but I have to admit that’s not totally true. Pull up a chair your home now. Chuck

Cal_ I had the Simplex and out detecting with it the first time . It was working great until I turned it off and back on but no speaker then. Turn around time was great but I wasn’t told what the problem was. Chuck

Way back when say around 1962 I was in the service and my wife worked for a jewelry store and the owner was buying gold at 55 per ounce. The government had the price fixed at 35 per ounce. The place was Merced California . I spent my off time along the 49ers trail and wanted to go back after I got out service but my wife didn’t. I could have got me another wife but miss a dream of a life time. Chuck

Steve Has Garrett invited you at their expense to this big hunt and lots of show of the Axiom? The cost of having you there with gold you have found with the Axiom is nothing to what it would mean to the sales of it . Heck people would for sure want to take a picture with you. You may not think so but you have become a Icon with the Axiom. I don’t know what he’s called but this guy is holding Lightning bolts in one hand and you with the Axiom in the other hand. Guys it’s not to late to let Garrett know that you would like to see Steve at their Memorial Hunt. Chuck
