About Me

I am the author of 4 books related to the American Civil War. I conduct tours of the Battle of Waynesboro for various groups including the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation.

I am also a contributing editor to Western & Eastern Treasures magazine and post videos about history and some of my finds on my YouTube channel at: Life, Liberty & the Pursuit of Relics™

I currently serve on the Board of Trustees for the National Civil War Chaplains Museum in Lynchburg, Virginia and on the Board of Directors for the Waynesboro Heritage Museum in Waynesboro, Virginia. I am an avid relic hunter and metal detectorist and a collector of stuff my wife wishes I wasn’t. Husband to one, father to six and grandfather to 21. Descended from patriots and rabble-rousers.
