  1. New machine looks like waterproofed and modified NOKTA Impact ;)
  2. Chuck, they know about it.Mark Lawrie promise that they will change rear part of armrest - legs? They told me about it on Detectival...
  3. Yes, so I was write to Vincent O'Brien Business Development Director about final units. Very nice peoples from Minelab. They answer for the questions without any problems.
  4. Thank you Steve. Some polish guys ask me we I'm doing those videos without complete tests... so I promise next time level of NASA laboratory... and drop tests from 6 meters on concrete ground ;) I just want to spend my time with my wife and friends. And check how new Minelab is build. But for real test I need more time.
  5. Interesting, I was look for this detectors at event and didn't see anything different, but...
  6. Yes, discrimination but tool should be also handy and easy to use... many of customers give up even with analog two knobs units...
  7. Only AKA goes deeper than others VLFs but is not easy to setup and to ground balance... at behavior is unstable sometimes.
  8. And it will be waterproof soon. But, Steve has right. It depends what person want to buy it. And what kind of tool searching for. Some peoples loves AKA machines, some not. For one Garrett is too simple for other person too complicated... so. Apples and oranges. What to choose and what is better? For example I love Whites V3i and I know that is not best machine. But I feel good with this tool in my hand.
  9. Not agree. Nokta has DEEP mode...and this mode is really deep. I was find few bigger coins deeper than 11 inches.... I remember AT PRO performance very well. I don't think so, so AT MAX will be much better...than ATP. ATP has very good audio, but ergonomy and weight distribution - balance... terrible. Wrist crusher... I still remember this pain very well.
  10. I will be on place boys. I have reserved tickets and camping field. I will take some photos and movies also.
  11. Second question how recovery speed is connected with frequency. In Impact user manual, we get information about that we need to work with 20kHz to get best performance... right?
  12. Heavy package on package syndrome. I have few videos about it... normal day in business.
  13. V3i is my favourite machine, but has slow recovery speed. I'm working in mixed mode only. I love it. MX Sport is not good machine. A lot of software errors. This unit is unfinished.
  14. If you are true ATP fanboy... maybe. I don't buy it. I love my wrists. Sorry. Not again.
  15. Still those bulky housing ergonomy. I call this model wrist crusher. Sorry. Good idea but in wrong body. The same like with Garrett ATX. They should talk with some engineers about it fast. Unit has probably good audio, is fast and deep. But is heavy nose machine still.
  16. North Africa, always declare it when you arrived in customs office... if not, you are in serious troubles at way back to home. I was test it by myself this year.
  17. That is not true! Broken coil cable. They change for new one coil for free but only one time... and you get the same... After few months broken cable isolation, slave. If you work in water... this is sad story. (Fiber glass reaction between low quality cable sleeve). Problem with shaft and shaft cam locks - blocked by sand and dirt... Wrong design of rear on-off switch. If you drop your unit - you have nice hole in housing. First models was without coil covers... so if this is no problem machine... I don't think so, also!!! Horrible weight... not housing - shaft! The should change material for lighter...
