Hi Michael.I will try to get hold of you soon. You can hunt with me and a few of my buddies. What town do you live in ? I live in the Greece/Charlotte area.Maybe we can meet in Durand soon.Look it up. It has a beach and a lot of woods to hunt.I have got 5 silver so far in this short year.Clad Hopper got a AU split band 1924 merc,a 1919-s merc plus a regular merc and a washington quarter.I went out 1 more time then him.I also got a 1940 bird band. All at durand.I use a Nox 800 and so does Clad hopper. -
With all the good hunters in southern California having good coverage might help you get your share of the goodies.

1st 2021 Gold With The AQ
Dances With Doves replied to Slimpickuns's topic in First Texas - Bounty Hunter, Fisher & Teknetics
You Southern California guys sure do well on the goodies. -
I never used the 15'' coil but i used a 3 by 18"clean sweep on my Bandito on a 800 by 80 yard beach after busy weekends and liked the coverage. It found me a 3/4 ounce 18 k chain so it owes me nothing. That coil is built like a brick.I would like one for the Nox.A fresh drop treasure gulping coil it would be.

I have been lucky with my Nox. I have had it under the water for many hours with no problems .I cut a piece of a pool noodle and put it between the pod and the arm cuff so it stays upright and never goes to deep.A foot and a half submerged tops with it being under mostly about 10 inches or less.I have had it under about a foot deep for at least 5 hours many times too in a certain lake.

My friend has about 3 too.He also got a dry sand trifecta.Gold ,Platinum and silver in 1 day.He is the only one I know who has done it on the dry sand. -

Your having a great year.A Tifanny=as good as gold. -
I talked to my buddy Tony and he said I could use his Ctx anytime since he does not use it anymore and the only time he really goes out is with me.He hates the cold but it seems that is when he does the best so i call him Iceman this time of year. He uses the Nox now.I have used it a few times and did well with his settings.

Is The Gpz-7000 A Deep Coin Finder?
Dances With Doves replied to GB_Amateur's topic in Minelab Metal Detectors
i remember our Steve doing a article on finding coins on a pounded Alaska beach that was a little hot because of it's sand.He did well pulling some tough coins out that were missed by a vlf machine but found with pulse machines .I bought the weaker Garrett Infinium and did well on old coins missed by other machines in my beach on Lake Ontario that had a little black sand mixed with the tan sand.Get a big shovel and dig the low /high hits .It was fun. -
Tom from California is always telling us about all are easy east coast large cents. It seems that 1 of 3 coins those California relic spot hunters find is worth over a hundred bucks. It pays to do research there.
