Not Much Interest In USA Units Lately
Dean Stone replied to bigtim1973's topic in Metal Detector Advice & Comparisons
I have used alot of detectors, and over the last 20 years i have found more rings and money with the MXT than any other detector i have used. I have two MXTs now and if i find a good deal on a used one i will buy it. The last ones i am trying now is the Anfibio, Vanquish 450, I had a F75 and sold it before i used it. Now i am looking to get another one. As long as i detector i will always have a MXT. I do alot of treading and selling, that is fun for me. -

Alaska Mining Superstore
Dean Stone replied to Steve Herschbach's topic in Gold Panning, Sluicing, Dredging, Drywashing, Etc
Very nice store, You just need to find some nice gold claims to lease, and rent to us dumb butts that don't know how to go about that. That way you can make money with your store and on the claims. We can rent a week or two from you every summer . -

Hi all, Has anyone hunted for jewelry withthe Vanquish 440 detector? I have other detectors but just ordered a 440, to see how a Muti detector will work. I have always used Whites and Fisher detectors and want to see how a MineLab works. Never had MineLab before, some say muti works better. Maybe some help , will help me. Thanks Dean

White's Trx Versus Fisher F-Pulse
Dean Stone replied to mh9162013's topic in Metal Detector Advice & Comparisons
The best thing about the TRX is it points mostly on the tip, I don't like the ones that gose off on the sides. If you have a target in the side of a hole, it takes alot longer to find with a side pointer. The TRX will let you know if not in the bottom of hole. -
Awfully Quiet On The Nokta Makro Front
Dean Stone replied to Cal_Cobra's topic in Nokta / Makro Metal Detectors
I for one am glad they are making it right before they ship it to USA. Think what it would cost to have to ship your detector back to get something fixed that can't be down loaded. I want a Legend, but i want it to be the best it can be before i get it. I sold my XP Deus 1, but i can go back with my MXT and hunt until i get the perfect Legend get here. Just me, everyone is like kids at Chirstmas, but if you know you are going to get a broke toy, that kills everything. -

Nine Nokta/Makro Models Discontinued
Dean Stone replied to Steve Herschbach's topic in Nokta / Makro Metal Detectors
Dose anyone that has tested the Legend know if the viberiton works on small targets. I have very bad hearing and have aids in broth ears, and have trouble hearing low hits on reg. detectors. I have the XP Deus 1, and afriend has one he always ask if i can hear targets he gets and i can't hear them. I was thinking about the Legend and that might help if it will viberate on deep targets. I think i am asking this right, thanks for any help. Dean -
Quest Xpointer Max Review (update 2)
Dean Stone replied to F350Platinum's topic in Quest Metal Detectors
I liked the Whites TRX, but lost mine, that is another story, It pointed deep and on the point, not 360% . I have hit small targets and dig hole to deep, the propointer will keep going off make you think the target is in the bottom of hole. I hate that. Need just the tip to point, is there any pointers that just point on the tip? Thankd Dean -

If You Are Considering Getting A Deus 2...
Dean Stone replied to Rick N. MI's topic in Metal Detector Advice & Comparisons
HAS ANYONE BEEN KEEPING UP WITH THE N/M Legend ? I think it is being held up trying to up date to the Deus 11. I am waiting to see how it will compare to the Deus 11 When it comes out. If it is as good at half the price, it will take over. I have very bad hearing and the vibrating part looks good to me. I had the Deus 1 or first, what ever you want to call it. I could not hear signals my friend would get on his. I hope the vibrating part works on deep targets. What dose everyone think of the Legend? thanks Dean -
I have aids in my ear, all the time when i was 17 teen, i tryed to get in the army and was told i was 80% to 90% deaf, I always knew i was not very smart, but didn't know that it was because i couldn't hear in school. I am almost 69 years old now and it don't matter that i can't here. No one can use my headphones for they are to loud. I have trouble with ground balance, i can't here the tones. I still do ok, i have alot of rings. Good Luck Dean
