No one knows, maybe just a dumb , but was told they were about the same. I have never used Safari before, and just stared useing the Vanquish. It is doing ok for me, but always wanted a Minelab Safari, i know they are hard to find.

Can anyone tell me how close these two detectors are to each other, someone said they Vanquish was just a down size to the Safari. Do they hunt about the same, dose one go deeper than the other? any help please, hard to find a Safari.

OK, I though you were looking for 8" Black Max for a MXT, My bad.

That 8" Black Max coil is for a 6.59 detector like the Eagle 2 SL, or 5900 Di, That wont work on a MXT.

There is one Detector that can tell the difference in some tabs, ( The beaver Tail tab ) from gold Is the MXT. when you hit a tab, push the toggle switch forward, and if it is a beaver tail, it will be static . Best detector ever made for rings.

Thanks Geotech, I just never seen any difference when i changed it , sometimes more static . So i can just leave it on the P.? My Eagle dose good, just didn't know what the Sig. Bal did.

Can anyone help with what it dose or how to use it. I like my old Eagle , it is heavy but like it to coin hunt. How do i use the Sig. Bal. ? after i am detecting or when i turn it on? Mine don't make much difference one way or the other. What dose it do. Thanks Dean

I just got my GPAA mag. today but have not got time to look at it yet. I will look the man up and see what he has to say.

I went to the Dollar Tree and got Awesome , it dose the best of anything i have ever used. Makes dimes and Quarters nice. Make sure you dont get a penny in with other coins. All my Zink cents are bad, if you melt them and pour it in a tube, can be cut and makes nice rings, looks like silver.

I mostly just dredge with my 2" dredge, but i think i will start pulling weeds. You got more than i do when i dredge.

Is that out of rock or metal? I think i would have it tested by someone that can tell you about it. Looks cool,

I have used alot of detectors, and over the last 20 years i have found more rings and money with the MXT than any other detector i have used. I have two MXTs now and if i find a good deal on a used one i will buy it. The last ones i am trying now is the Anfibio, Vanquish 450, I had a F75 and sold it before i used it. Now i am looking to get another one. As long as i detector i will always have a MXT. I do alot of treading and selling, that is fun for me.

And how it would help the fish population, They think they are smart to stop dredge to help fish, they don't know they need spots to lay eggs in deeper water,

Very nice store, You just need to find some nice gold claims to lease, and rent to us dumb butts that don't know how to go about that. That way you can make money with your store and on the claims. We can rent a week or two from you every summer .

Those look like good plugers the plug maker may need to be a little longer.

Hi all, Has anyone hunted for jewelry withthe Vanquish 440 detector? I have other detectors but just ordered a 440, to see how a Muti detector will work. I have always used Whites and Fisher detectors and want to see how a MineLab works. Never had MineLab before, some say muti works better. Maybe some help , will help me. Thanks Dean

Hi Jeff, If you get time can you try the vibberaition setting on the Legend. I have very bad hearing and that was one thing that got me to order a Legend. Thanks Dean

Has anyone seen anything about the Legend? I seen where Calabash got his. Hope he post some videos about it. I have not been keeping up with it, dose anyone know anything more than 2 weeks ago? Weather getting good here, need to start finding some rings and coins. Thanks Dean

The best thing about the TRX is it points mostly on the tip, I don't like the ones that gose off on the sides. If you have a target in the side of a hole, it takes alot longer to find with a side pointer. The TRX will let you know if not in the bottom of hole.

I for one am glad they are making it right before they ship it to USA. Think what it would cost to have to ship your detector back to get something fixed that can't be down loaded. I want a Legend, but i want it to be the best it can be before i get it. I sold my XP Deus 1, but i can go back with my MXT and hunt until i get the perfect Legend get here. Just me, everyone is like kids at Chirstmas, but if you know you are going to get a broke toy, that kills everything.
