I'm glad I'm not the only one with an SDC with some character. It would be awfully nice to be able to justify all of the wear, though. My bullet to nugget ratio is like 400:0.

People think I'm crazy when they learn that I have TWO metal detectors. If I got another, I would probably keep it a secret. I've been detecting for about four months and have the following: AT Pro - the clad coin / pull tab detector SDC 2300 - the bullet / beer can detector Although I haven't found anything more valuable than loose change, I'm happy with both and don't feel the need to upgrade anything at the moment.

I thought the green button was just for good luck! The noise cancel button doesn't really seem to make much if a difference either but I still go through the whole process every time I go out. I have at least 300 grams of bullets to show for my persistence.
