  1. Kudos! That bit of information (video) should help sales. I do read the forums when I get time. But with limited time, I get bits here and there, some big bits and some small bits as time allows, (usually with morning coffee).
  2. It’s nice that they come out with it after I bought the package.
  3. These coils cables are thicker than any other that I have used. So flexing the coil up to run your scoop over it shouldn't be a problem in the long run.
  4. I agree. Like gold panning, that small gold takes a lot to add up to anything. If I can’t get pickers at least, I don’t want to waste my time.
  5. My way of looking at it was 17/24 = 68% and .68 x 35 = 23.8(24)
  6. Manticore should be at 24 sensitivity and equinox at 17 to be equal. Manticore goes to 35 and equinox goes to 25 max’s.
  7. I noticed too that the Manticore isn't as sensitive to gold as the 800. But maybe software updates will correct this. I plan to use the Axiom on gold, and I got the Manticore so I could cover everything outside of the Axiom. The 2 should be all that I need for whatever detecting comes about. The plan was to clear everything else out and have just the two, (and maybe one other for family loan-out).
  8. Has anyone used an X-Terra 70? I don't see it listed in the detector database.
  9. Although I haven't been able to go out and field test the Manticore, (due to the cold and wet weather), I've been learning the detector very easily, more so than I did with the Equinox. One improvement that I am liking at the moment, other than the 2D screen, is that I can notch the iron rejection. No more just the FE(2) setting that blanket's across the board! This is not 100% perfect, but it's a huge improvement. What are you other user's liking so far in the set-ups?
  10. It did say ships today! Sold-out in 30 minutes. LOL I did post a phone number of a guy that has 1 left. I got mine form him in 2 days last week.
  11. Here’s one you may feel more at ease with. In stock, https://www.seriousdetecting.com/product/minelab-manticore-high-power-metal-detector/
  12. No, he will call you for your credit card number. I got mine in 2 days. You can even call him. His name is Leo. 503-362-3207 I told him to get his website redone.
  13. There’s one available here in Oregon: https://oregonmds.ehopper.info/product/minelab-manticore-coming-soon/
  14. My Manticore will be here tomorrow, one day shipping. The guy might have one left, if anyone is interested?
  15. I have. Lots more sensitive and deeper. I have been out only once with it. I will be selling my TDI stuff, since I have the Axiom now.
  16. The ATX has it's place until the Axiom becomes waterproof. And that would add some weight to the Axiom. I don't need waterproof, myself.
  17. It’ll be tough for other manufacturer’s to beat the Axiom’s weight, construction, and price point! If you need waterproof, go with the SDC2300 or ATX.
  18. I hope Garrett does an update on the noise cancel. The ATX did better with the emi in my area. But It may possibly be because the Axiom is more sensitive than my ATX was.
  19. I've been over Donner a few times. One time I sat idle for 4 hrs. 4x4 is a must. I would go back to Reno if ever I needed to chain-up. Chains and I don't get along.
  20. I sold my ATX, of which I really liked (except for the weight), and I bought an Axiom, and glad I did! I'm counting the days to get out and really use it in the fields, as It's been raining steadily here in Oregon. So far, I have put on an anti-scratch screen cover and bought a head cover. The entire shiny face will be susceptible to scratching, or marring from dirt on the fingers, as I have seen on some YouTube videos. Just my preference to keep things looking good (taking into account what I paid for it). Wait for the Axiom!
  21. I opted for the international version. 13" mono and 11" DD. One drawback is that it comes with wired headphones. But I don't normally wear headphones, so no worries there. One of my main reasons is that I like DD coils and the 11" is lighter, which is a main preference for me. I would have preferred a kit with just the one coil at a cheaper price! Would basic Bluetooth headphones work with Z-Link?
