Anyone Using Deus 2 Aftermarket Charging Clamp For Coil?
Gwcracker replied to Steve Herschbach's topic in XP Deus II Forum
How do you tell the charge level by looking at the charge voltage? -
"antique Detectorist" Changing Horses
Gwcracker replied to bocash3's topic in Metal Detector Advice & Comparisons
First thing I would do is get shed of the Garrett. Second thing, get shed of the Whites. Then I would decide between the Nox and the Nokta Legend. In my case I would go with the Legend. That is what I would do. One more thing.. Just because the newer detectors have all the buttons and options doesn't necessarily mean you are required to learn them.. New detectors can be used as a turn on and go with factory presets just as easily with no adjustment required.. -

At what point did Tesoro change to digital audio? -

Steve, the processed digital audio signal is not as informative as the analog unprocessed signal. That's where the true value of nuance would really be meaningful. g -

Real World Feedback For XP Deus 2 In Water
Gwcracker replied to Dmnz's topic in Metal Detector Advice & Comparisons
Would love to see a test that I could believe. So much BS and smoke has been spread and blown that I believe none of it. What I do know is the EMI is horrible in my area. I refuse to subject myself to that sort of punishment until it is remedied. -
I would think if time was taken to polish the part it would cost much more..

I'll order one when they come out in black!

Iron Relics With Digital Detectors
Gwcracker replied to Rick N. MI's topic in Metal Detecting For Coins & Relics
Business degree here. Not much desire for iron relics. I dig enough by accident. Not profitable! Will never intentionally dig iron. -
Is there a US XP spokesman for XP Detectors? Aside from the usual suspects?

Has two plastic prongs that press against the coil side. friction fit. The earlier ones had the nylon screw.

Very interesting, Thanks!

Your faith in MF is greatly appreciated... apparently. Someone needs to ask the smart one, XPCalabash, SSDD. 😉

Don't walk away, run! Unless you are a vintage detector collector. Used to be a pretty good machine but would be grouped with a forked willow stick today.

Ser Detecting has the adapter cords for $18.54 shipped. That's $15 less shipping than the other company. The other co wanted $20.20 shipping alone, plus $12 for the cord. geo

It seems to me that the one distributor is sitting on these adapters as I find no other dealers stocking them. Some are in love with a dollar so much that they will do whatever necessary to gain a few extra, and that is what appears to be happening. Don't think it will be to long before XP gets wind of this practice and hopefully puts an end to it. I was wanting to add one to my outfit as a just in case item but it's not really needed at this point. geo

True, I saw the same and started to order 10 to get free shipping. Think 9 people would have interest from my bulk order with actual shipping?

Legend Threshold Still Not Fixed After 1.05 Update
Gwcracker replied to Jeff McClendon's topic in Nokta / Makro Legend Forum
Is a digital threshold active to a target signal or just a digital hum in the background, nothing more. Time was listening for the slightest signal tic would indicate the very deep targets with an analog machine. Just wondered if the same with digital technology and not where the signals have been digitized. -
You do work for XP?

Why Aren't More Analog Detectors Made?
Gwcracker replied to Rick N. MI's topic in Metal Detector Advice & Comparisons
Or lack of analog signal processing.. a good thing really. Would you like to speak to a human being or a computer? Same difference! -
