  1. I see Dr. Calabash selling them right now on his XP Channel..
  2. Now I like that. Please post pic with control mounted if possible. Thanks! g
  3. The silver is gone now.. It was not the detector.. silver was covering the ground. I was there πŸ˜‰
  4. Seems that's the price difference between pre order and waiting until in stock.
  5. That ring, in the video, was originally found with a Nox at the beach..
  6. I watched the video as well. What I did notice is Savannah Harps found the targets he used for testing previously. Calabash bought his test targets from a pawnshop. Hello?
  7. Would have been good if Calabash Digger had posted results of the EMI (silent emi) when he first discovered it. I think Steve's phone call the night before triggered CD's post of discovering the EMI problem but until then he had remained silent.
  8. Had no problem using the Whites meter. But no, a screen is not a must but controls are. This is something that should have been addressed at the factory as the way things are situated now to re-engineer would be pointless. If I had a J shaped rod I think I could attach the Nox control unit as a extension of the J.
  9. Balance has nothing to do with it. I had rather the detector be held below my hand as opposed to above it.
  10. We have spoken about it several times. I'd like the handle to hang from my fingers rather than than to hold the handle, fist under the control box. I have strapped the rod to my wrist and that helps as I can pretty much let go of my hand gripping the handle of the Nox. for short periods of time. As I said before, it's like carrying a bucket of water by the bail, it hanging on ones fingers rather than by a handle on the side of the bucket. The weight being all on the wrist as opposed to hanging on the hand/fingers. g
  11. Yes, getting closer to a handle being held parallel to the ground instead of perpendicular.
  12. Wouldn't trust the Colchester guy as far as I could throw him. Sorry to hear of yet another delay. g
  13. The Snake would be excellent for much of my use. We in the US aren't fortunate enough to have thousands of acre clear fields to hunt, spring and fall and thats where the large coils excel. I have large coils for Tesoro, Nautilus, and a couple more but can not remember the last time they were used. Thanks phrunt!
  14. I have seen absolutely no info on the smaller coil for the Simplex? If all still quiet after this time, I will take for granted that those of us that purchased the Simplex after being lead to believe accessory coils were in the works were just screwed. Lesson learned. geo
  15. Hi all, Received my Golden Mask collapsible rod with adapter to mount the Minelab Equinox. Took between two and three weeks and it is everything I had heard it was, really top notch, solid. For those interested the price is $169 shipped. The adapter alone is available for $40 as some did ask earlier in the thread. Use the contact info that I posted before. Taras will get you fixed up! gw
