  1. Thank you for putting forth the effort to produce these videos! It's nice that you can get there using ground transportation. I'll be watching for your next one.
  2. My uncle has an in-law who seems to be more terminal than most folks. I forwarded your list to try to lighten up the situation. Thanks for your input, and welcome!
  3. Your introduction could have been written for me with a few minor changes. This is a great site to get educated before going detector shopping. Good luck, and keep posting
  4. I came to stay in 1999. I have not done much detecting, but am looking forward to learning a thing or two. I have been a part of a placer operation in the Melozitna district north of Kallands for the past 12 years. I also like to fish, so we moved to Marble Island a year ago. It's good to hear from here. Welcome
  5. You say your body is beat up. What about the coil? Is it common to beat them up a little to get started? Could damage occur? Thanks for posting the video.
  6. Thank you! My wife is in San Diego visiting family for the holidays. How can people stand the weather?
  7. Hello, everybody! My name is Bill Burke. I have been participating in a placer operation in the Melozitna district. With 5 members, sometimes it feels like the tail is wagging the dog. I'm still wet behind the ears, but seem to learn a thing or two each season. I want to learn about using a detector to evaluate overburden and tailings piles. It also seems to be a good idea to vacuum each cut with a suction dredge before turning it into the next settling pond. It's a good time of year to spend time on the internet. Bill
