Who Is Really Driving Metal Detector Technology These Days?
Started by Steve Herschbach, 2 hours ago
Well. I am.
newbs who don't know what the hell most of you are talking about. we tend to trust the old name brands to not be a complete pile of junk. so we are the people they are marketing too. when we get to your level, then we will have the same wants as you power users.
but for now, I'm driving metal detector technology. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
sad huh. but the technology that makes my mx sport waterproof is a buying point for me, since I killed a detector by getting it wet and muddy. it doesnt matter if the xp outperforms it, I can't afford to replace it if it get wet!(as an example) and who ever heard of good french technology.(playing devils advocate there).(love the french).

very nice video.

Lots of sagebrush and empty space to see, lol. I got creeped out in Lovelock, not into guys hanging around the restroom scene, hope your stay is more enjoyable.
ok so can't let that be the last post
it's the journey, the shortest line is not always the best, unless time is short. 49 could be a whole day of exploring, and maybe you don't need to go to rye patch, plenty of gold around the yuba, but whatever beeps your machine, right.

Hello gang, found something with the MX Sport this morning.
This is very important, all MX Sport users with the upgrade need to run audio modulation feature at 0, running at 1 slows down the recovery and creates some tone smearing.
And of course those using Relic mode can increase SAT that will increase recovery as well especially in areas with mineralization or iron masking.
Paul
Hi Paul, I tried both audio mod on and off(0-1) and did not notice a difference. my sat does go up to 8.( I have the latest firmware) now my question, to anybody, since it isnt mentioned in the manual, what does audio mod do?

I was wrong , 1935, any way these are some of the coins that show up in the till. The cashier always calls me if anything looks strange. ( except the quarter and the wheat ). As an aside, he asked me after the fact if I thought a ten dollar bill felt wrong, yep counterfeit . It's taped to the till now.

Could you give an estimate of how many hours you spent digging last week, and how many total coins you dug? I'd like to be able to estimate how rare such an occurrence is. The number of coins dug is the more important one.
The word 'impressive' doesn't begin to do this justice. If those are nearly independent events (that is, we're not talking about someone stealing a coin collection and then dumping it in the local park) this is approaching astronomical. I recall an article in Coin World newspaper back in the the 60's where an estimate was given of the number of hours searching through bank rolls it would take to find various scarce and rare Lincoln Cents. Wish I could find that article.
so, about 5 years ago, someone came into the station and bought several pack of smokes, and paid for them with silver dollars, I was able to buy the newest one from the till. 1938 I think, the boss got the rest.
another time couple of years ago, I was playing 7 card stud, 25cent ante, at boomtown near reno, I dragged a pot and one of the quarters was a 1938.
just this week, I walked around front of the shop and found a wheat cent on the floor mat near the door.
no detector needed!

thanks, now I know what mosquito farts sound like! you did a good job on the video though, I could follow along easier than when I'm using my detector. am I right that the display on the left shows where under the coil the target is? if so , major cool. I do like the pinpointer sound too.
