Here is a picture of the TDK headphones I purchased last week ...
They dont use Bluetooth ---instead they use KLEER tech....(not very popular)
But i think they will work better than BT
The headphones and transmitter each use 2-AAA batteries----which will be a negative to Steve aka-- "ALL AA"----lol
Happy hunting!

I am from the school that thinks air tests are good enough to see if your detector is turned on.....
I believe there is something intrinsically different about a target that has been in the ground for awhile and a target that has been recently put in a hole to test...
I think a target in the ground has a halo around it from leaching (or some other phenomena)....that cant be reproduced by burying a coin or nugget.
Field testing rules...

Leave it better than before...pick up a can or a bottle....
and this earth can "shake us off it like fleas on a dog" (George Carlin on environmentalists).....we aren't going to kill it...it will be here when we are long gone...

although I'm not a developer type I enjoyed listening to that idea of open source and I think it would be interesting to start another thread just to see who else is.....
and believe me I really think the people at Makro are reading....
