Thats a decent YT video,as we are allowed back out again for the most part in the UK will be detecting both saturday and sunday so will probably take my Deus and the Nexus SE with the dual 9'' coil on,its a very unusual analogue detector but must admit it does work exceptionally well once you have mastered it,its phenomenally deep and still pretty good on smaller targets as well.

Is that 9" dual coil has 8 kHz on Nexus SE? If it possible shot some video. The thing is that form of (   )(   ) coil runs better in heavy soil on 18 kHz. Low frequency works better on other MD, after testing i'll show you more.

Would be interesting to see if you could get your hands on a Nexus with a similar coil and do a side by side test !! that would be interesting, just my opinion of course but i feel the Nexus could just have the slight edge as its ability to increase power into the coil.Of course i cannot confirm or deny that but that is the advantage of the Nexus machines that i use is that both the SE and MP especially the latter the increase in voltage is what i feel the machine is all about, very similar to the old Nautilus detectors but even higher voltage i think.

I can compare with Deus, ORX, Eq... The thing is soil! No mater what detector you use, black miniralized ground with ceramics makes them lose depth and discrim, spherical coil smashes in that conditions. As I know Nexus is good detector, for sure not worse in depth than Predator.

What size double 00 coil is that on the Predator ??is that the large coil that you can use or can you also use larger ones as well ?? on the Nexus SE the largest if i recall is the dual 20'' coil but that is a specialist use coil for real deep military/hoard targets.

    Well done on the video.

It is 9×12" OO just like Nexus one. I will make subtitles later for that tests.

I have used the dual 9'' coil on my Nexus SE for about 4 years,no question about it in that configuration it is deep so well suited for use on clean pasture sites.

There is something you miss using that coil (like others who use it on Nexus). Disc should be at 1 than you easily distinguish iron from colour metals in any soil, GB it not like in instruction let it be minimal as it can be whithout false signals and your deepnes will be even better. I use it on very trashy areas and it hits and separates targets just like sniper coil (working zone is not so big). DD coil separates better than concentric (worst discrim in hard soil). With coils you chose in areas with briks and ceramics you'll miss low conducted targets for sure. Test it better.

I would like to see someone using that coil down in that red dirt in VA. That may make for a convincing test.

I can't speak on the Amphibio and can't compare it to the Kruzer as they have 2 very different coils. I know the narrow coil works very well here against iron contamination where my wider coils on my other machines struggle. The Kruzer seems to have quite a bit of punch and believe Makro really boosts the tx on it in their 2 tone, 4 tone and especially deep mode and is on the cusp of being unstable much like the AT Max but easier to tame as you have more options to work with other than sensitivity. I still can't see having just one coil for any of my machines, for me it really depends where I want to hunt. Wider coils in the woods I often hit would be very awkward to navigate around the undergrowth and blow downs.

In woods it's not that comfort but more usable that big wheel, smaller size with same form under development.

Sorry I’m not buying into this but I do have the Brooklyn Bridge still for sale. You need to let me know if you want it with or without Pigeons.

Makro/Nokta has got a update coming they say on my Simplex + . It’s going to be so hot after I can’t carry a candy bar in my shirt pocket because it will melt.

I guess the first half of my post should have been in the classified.

     Chuck

Simplex and Amfibio lose depth even in normal miniralization. EQ800 has good depth but lose discrimination in hard conditions. Thats why I use analog MD and Spherical DD coil. May be you should clean your bridge from pigions sh*t and go in right direction.

Is this Predator 3+ ..= Golden Mask 3+ clone?

OO coil has favorable properties in mineralization ...

I just say 11 "coils and the and larger coils improve 3D separation ..

Only 2 of my detectors on 11"  standart DD coils in this test well and reliably.. separate this very light.. 9Kt- 0.6gram gold ring between  6" long nails ..

    Minelab Equinox 800 .. on multifrequency .. and Rutus Alter 71 v.2 on frequency from 14khz -18.4khz .....

It is more like inmproved GM 4Pro. That type of coil use Nexus MD. If you watch it clously it hits target under Hot rock (witout GB on it). No need to fool somebody, it's just works better with small low conducted metals and I let you know that. I ordered it custom for my MD, so you need to find who'll made it for yours. Try to run that test with your MD and target will sound Fellous (tested EQ800, Nokta Amfibio, XP Deus). Why that test? It is not a ground but that scenario can happend, old building or many ceramics under groud. Done it with mineralized soil, same result, no time to shoot video. So you decide worth it or not. I will try to run your 3D test, thanks.

Bricks are not soil, let alone anything like mineralized aussie soil.

Only 1 post. Are you a salesman?

Those videos prove nothing, in fact I just found them inconclusive and the beeping annoying.

No I just use that coil with my metal detector. To understand that test you need ground with ceramics in it or very miniralized soil. Also GB is min. so you don't lose depth. Works best with analog MD. If you use digital MD you don't understand sounds. It does work better than standard coils.
