1994 really isn't that old, and why did you put corn flakes around it? Great job on the hunt and may luck be with you on your next hunt, just maybe you can find something in the 1950's.

I wish I had this forum to help me pick out my new detector when I was looking for one. There are so many good brands on this site and the people that knows them all and their capabilities. Read, compare, read some more, compare again. Always take into consideration what you are wanting to find with the detector, and how often you are going to use it for that hunt. Should you want it for water hunting or for desert, you need something that will handle those areas. I hope this helps and always listen to the wise man himself STEVE H.

Well I am sure glad you didn't mention the orange rectangle ones, both large and small so I should be OK.

I don't think they make them that large, if so I would hate to meet the person in a dark alley.

I have been afraid of putting mine in water, just maybe your idea would work.

I have tried to get a glimpse of it for the past week and to my dismay there have been to many clouds on the horizon. Glad for the additional information on exactly where it is and will keep trying to see it.

Joe, I was kidding about that, they have taxes on everything even oxygen for the scuba tanks.

Fantastic finds and I hate sharks also, that and the jelly fish. Hope your luck continues on your next hunt, and don't let Illinois know about those finds as they will want to tax you for it.

That is a makers mark and is probably sterling silver plated, I don't think it is solid silver due to the color of it. Good luck on your next hunt and charge those batteries!

Great finds over the years, and I wish you good luck on finding the ones that you have missed. I wish that I could do something like that before my time is up.
