  1. Can’t wait to use the Deus2 in the water.
  2. #12 Beach P program. I’ve been using this program the past 4 outings on the turf 17 hours total. 3 hours using relic program at the woodsville settlement dug up a few pistol balls there. Never did any updates.
  3. You’ll find a barber or standing liberty quarter soon. I hate them pesky Rosies prefer something older. I’ve only dug up 2 rosies at the patch of grass I’ve been hunting for over 10 years.
  4. My 1887s seated dime I’d 88-90. The barber dime was 81-83-88. I believe it was on edge because of the lower numbers. Ground here in central California is bad ground I.d. is 92.
  5. That’s exciting news. You may also find a gold or bust coin.
  6. Hit the grassy area for 5 hours on Sunday tried hard to find another gold nugget didn’t happen but manage to dig up a 1900 barber dime. I’d 82-83-88 one way and 81-82 the other. I believe the coin was on edge 4-5 inches deep one of the reasons I bought the D2. Barber coin not corroded like many this one is just worn down from use. Denny
  7. I don’t like the name. Tarsacci too close to the brand Gucci. Isn’t the double CC spelled in the word tarsacci on the detector the same as Gucci. Isn’t that a trademark for Gucci.
  8. Nice You hunting saltwater or fresh?
  9. My ground I.D. is 92 on the Deus2. I’m able to pull coins out of the ground 7 inches. Your ground looks dry a good rain should help with targets.
  10. More pics. after examining the nugget and comparing it to others the same size the nugget looks more like it was dropped by a miner resting under a tree on their way home. I estimate it is worth $300-$400 for this 5 gram nugget. denny
  11. I don’t wear jewelry so I’ll put it in my display of finds.
  12. Yes most likely dropped. I don’t think this is a recent drop looks like it was in the ground for years.
  13. Nugget ID 66 on the D2. Yes I was surprised. I expected coins or jewelry but not a gold nugget. I used beach sens program with square and pitch tones, salt on 7. Park program seems a bit weak.
  14. I tried the tarsacci a few times at this patch of grass it did ok with old coins but the D2 is better on land.
  15. Hit the grassy area this morning in hopes of finding another seated dime didn’t happen but did find a 5.1 gram gold nugget a little smaller than a dime. No discoloration it came out of the ground looking like in the pic. ID at 66 on the D2 at 6 inches deep. Also dug up a wheatie and. V- Nickel. Denny
  16. I use #12 beach P program and relic program for parks. Seems deeper than deep HC and general sens.
  17. I don’t have a computer so I can’t do a update. For now I just use 0.6 version. Working fine for me.
  18. GB you are 100% correct. I was offered $100 for the 1923s SLQ from the coin shop at the time, I refused. I would have taken $200 if offered. Every coin I dig up I always check for rarity and check realized prices from auction houses like eBay for rare ones. denny
  19. Nickles , wheates and IHP take a beating at this particular spot I hunt. I wish they didn’t. Keep at it a SLQ will show up when you least expect it.
  20. I cleaned it with soap and water before the pic. Couldn’t see a date or mintmark when I dug it out of the hole.
