Help, Numeric 2 Showing In Speaker Select Menu?
Carolina replied to Carolina's topic in XP Deus II Forum
My version is 0.06 the latest version offered I think. Thanks -
Did he give a price ? I imagine thru the roof 🤣.

Can anyone tell me what the number 2 in the lower left corner means ? Also, my battery indicators for my coil and RC never ramp down. Both always show full charge until either just dies. Anybody else notice this issue ? Suggestions ? Thanks in advance. That 2 is driving me crazy. 🤣

Impulse AQ Small ("8") Coil
Carolina replied to cjc's topic in First Texas - Bounty Hunter, Fisher & Teknetics
The old limited coils will not work with the new unlimited version due to the new coax method of connection. Maybe they will issue new 8” coils at that time. -

Pins 4 & 5 are the bone phone connections. This limits you to square tones only. No PWM tones. Pins 1 & 2 are for wired phones which give you the option of Square tones or the traditional Deus PWM tones. -

Anyone Using Deus 2 Aftermarket Charging Clamp For Coil?
Carolina replied to Steve Herschbach's topic in XP Deus II Forum
Thanks but not for me. I will search till I find the magnetic one and until then I’ll use the stock charging clip. The problem I see right off with this is it is not removable and will be in the way a bit with the antenna cable. Thanks again. -
Anyone Using Deus 2 Aftermarket Charging Clamp For Coil?
Carolina replied to Steve Herschbach's topic in XP Deus II Forum
Yes for the coil. It looked like the round oblong piece inside the stock charging clip minus the clip and it jumped ( magnetic ) on to the coils positive and negative connections similar to the Equinox. There was a video showing it. Dang it, it must be out there somewhere. My search begins. -
Anyone Using Deus 2 Aftermarket Charging Clamp For Coil?

If anyone has info on the magnetic charging cable shown on a recently removed thread here, could you share info with me ? Thanks -
Dew, so many questions. #1 First, did you break an ear to start with ? #2 would your guy sell me a set of ears? #3 did you use marine grade epoxy to secure the new ears ? #4 more of a statement, I have a habit of pushing my scoop right up on the coil in deep water to dig my targets. I always worry about the cable getting nicked with my Stealth scoop. I think if I can get the ears, I will reverse the coil and have the wire come from the front. Feel free to mail your answers should you choose to respond. Thanks.

Digi-key order number 1522147 SAC-6P-M 8MR/ 1,5-PUR PHOENIX

Do not ignore 11 & 13 targets. I have dug many gold rings on edge or deep with these numbers. Gold is what I do.
-
Here you go phrunt. You will dig gold and silver and the upper right corner will cut out any iron wrap around. Let me know how you do. It won’t take long to see where the gold lays. Depending on depth and ring position you should dig all (11) (12) and (13) signals.

It seems to me, that the small M8 connector discussed negatively here may be the wave of the future. Previous to the AQ, my Tarsacci has this connector and now Post AQ my Deus ll has the M8 connector. They all sight one thing in common, space availability. I personally love the M12 size some refer to as the CTX connector but truth be known, I have not had any issues with the M8 on any of the for mentioned machines. As for whatever Alexandre turns out for the next AQ, I think what phrunt said about trading in the limited we purchased would go a long way for Fishers image overall or at least a credit of $1500.00 towards the final versions cost. As some of you know, I sent my AQ to Eric in the UK to evaluate and also to build me several 10” coils. He developed a 7 page report on his findings and talked with Carl and Alexandre often. I’m fairly sure Carl’s involvement was limited at best in the development of the AQ. This was primarily Alexandre’s project. He ( Alexandre ) has put his heart and soul into this project, so I know he will not abandon it. What Tom Walsh does I have no idea. I consider myself one of the lucky ones as my AQ only had a few minor hiccups that First Texas took care of, and with Joes battery it has been a dream machine in the right settings along with several mods from Eric. I wish Alexandre and First Texas the best and have no I’ll feelings at all. I am sorry though that others have not had the same success that I have. Good luck everybody and spring is just around the corner here in the US.

6 pin. But I get your drift. But while everyone is ranting and raving about the Legend, my Deus ll is killer deep. I mean deep with great audio, great separation and runs smooth as silk. Those back phones though, not much to brag about. I wired my pro gold to mine and have a full size wireless set on the way. You will get used to the charging jack with time. Tarsacci has a M8 connector also. The CTX M12 is the way to go in my humble opinion. I would post my mods but the dang pictures come out sideways.

Received My Bh-01 Bone Conduction Headphones Today
Carolina replied to Steelheader's topic in XP Deus II Forum
Sent you a PM to help make myself better understood. Yes these pictures are in the manual page 44. I have talked to several dealers who surprisingly know nothing about them. If I can get my hands on that jack, I will cut the female plug off and ohm those wires to the pins. That will tell me what I need to know. -

Carolina replied to Steelheader's topic in XP Deus II Forum
No disrespect to my long time friend Joe, but this pin out will not work properly for hard wired phones. This pin out ( bone phones ) will limit you to square tones only. You will not be able to use PWM. You also will need to push the bone phone icon to get an audio response. There seems to be a wired set of phones model FX-03 but they are not available it appears. They may have been a set for the Deus but no one can tell me about either. Either there is a different pin out for wired phones (speakers) vs bone phones or the PWM will only work with the wireless phones. If you think about it, the bone phones would not be able to supply the nuances that the PWM offers where as speakers would. At least at this point that is my thinking. I have a set of pro gold phones wired now and they work fine on the square tones. Just no PWM available. I know Carter is working on a set of wired amphibians but have not talked with him yet to see if he has this same issue. Any help would be appreciated on the FX-03 pin out. -
How Do You Store Your Carrots?
Carolina replied to phrunt's topic in Metal Detector Advice & Comparisons
I’m surprised the F pulse is not your favorite. My Tek Point is my favorite and they are basically the same I think. I’m thinking a Carl Moreland project maybe. Anyway nice wood working project and if you buy a new carrot, the old one is sure to turn up 🤣. -
Fancy A Tarsacci But No Wifi Phones ???
Carolina replied to brys's topic in Tarsacci Metal Detectors
Maybe you could fit the Z Link to the Tarsacci. I spend as much time in the water as I do on land so wires are good for me.
