Chuck, yes exactly. Advertising is not something Dimitar believes in. The fact of the matter is, the Tarsacci really did not really start gaining recognition and respect till I got Keith Southern involved. Keith got many people to actually take a serious look at the product, or introduced relatively unknown product for the first time. Keith & I released videos that blew peoples minds and accused us of “parlor tricks” & deception….okay right whatever. That was 2yrs ago and the Tarsacci at that time was already out for 1.5yrs! In this day and age of competition, big old companies like Whites and Tesoro going under, you NEED to strike while the irons is hot as new machines are constantly coming out. And now XP’s new flagship I hear hits a nickel at 15” in wet salt. If that’s true, that now means Tarsacci is not the only detector (besides PI) that can do that. You can’t expect a company to grow by word of mouth. Again, something Dimitar either does not want to accept or understand …..🥴 APL

As I mentioned before, due ongoing expense’s and lack of Tarsacci sales, I had to let the forum go. I think it’s worth mentioning though, I did offer to the sell it to Dimitar at quite a reasonable price and he obviously didn’t. It’s really a shame however as there was over 1.5yrs of information & data from Tarsacci users all around the world, and it’s all basically gone now. Just another example of his “unusual” sense of business …. APL

Garrett Clearsound are excellent headphones especially for only $28. on Amazon. The only thing is they have 1/4 jack. You can get a 1/8 adapter or re-wire a 1/8 plug or a M-8 plug available also on Amazon. If you use them for wading, you’ll need to waterproof the volume adjuster. I dipped it in some rubber coating. The speakers on these phones are especially great! Keith Southern sent a me pair a couple years ago and I’ve bought couple spare sets since. Also…..remember, you can use the pigtail adapter while wading and plug your jack into it and totally submerge it. It’s all waterproof. APL

In regards to Tom Dankowski’s statement regarding myself….https://www.dankowskidetectors.com/discussions/read.php?2,152652,184080#msg-184080 I find this very interesting especially since I did NOT purchase the modified Tarsacci unit from Dimitar, I bought it used from a third party, who Dimitar custom made it for. Therefore, I had no said “agreement” with him. The gentleman called me recently and informed of his interest in selling the unit in order to free up some cash for the latest XP flagship. The gentleman suffers from significant hearing damage working around heavy equipment and being a professional musician. He could NOT differentiate the high tone from the mid tone. I suspect the same is for others…. This modification cuts the learning curve down SIGNIFICANTLY! I didn’t see a need for the unit until he sent me video samples of which I immediately noticed BIG difference in audio. My only intent was for the Tarsacci community to realize how much better the audio (((could))) be. However, things being as they are with Dimitar he is not in the habit of listening to his customers, just as he hasn’t, regarding a small coil, BEAST coil cover, arm strap, extra lower rod, hard copy manual, all of which I endlessly lobbied for to him for you guys (and you know who you are). Very strange this statement is made about me especially since I’ve done nothing but promote the Tarsacci. Even though I’ve pulled the forum due to maintenance cost and bad Tarsacci sales my YouTube videos bring Dimitar TONS of FREE promotion. Before I pulled them they were getting almost 5,000 minutes a month in view time. Now that I brought them back, in only 2 weeks people have spent over 31hrs have watching them. What people don’t realize is subscribers mean NOTHING, it’s VIEWERS. 80% of my viewers are NOT subscribers, Dimitar doesn’t get that….. And there’s more aspects, tricks of the Tarsacci that haven’t been addressed anywhere on the forum or YouTube that I still to publish yet, lack the motivation… APL

True. Chuck, I think your on the right track however I have agree w Chase,. If Dimitar decides to make a smaller coil it’s most likely going to be in the 6” round range. What I’d be questioning is weather it be concentric or DD? Please remember, the Beast coil was developed for the market that really used the TARSACCI the most, and requested it, the beach hunters. Now the tide has turned and many relic hunters are discovering the MDT is NOT just a beach machine, and,,,,actually a BETTER relic machine. Again, it’s all about the demand, as the R&D as already mentioned is,,,,trust me…..in the 5 figures. It’s gotta be worth it to Dimitar! Aaron

I’m not concerned about your depth more your gold, or lack of, especially if you’ve gone over the area well! Try this…. If you’ve removed most of the non ferrous, and it’s not too trashy, put it in All Metal, Salinity in 43, Sensitivity at 1-2. Turn Black Sand off, threshold @ 0. You do NOT need high gain for small gold and you don’t want to be picking up deeper ferrous or other junk. The idea here is to find gold. If it’s a athletic field there has to be small gold there, your looking for VDI numbers 1-4. If for some reason you missed them before, maybe cause of the Black Sand on and you were in Disc, you won’t miss it this time. Having the Salinity on at 43 will also help tell the difference between god/aluminum & little pieces of foil, (especially decomposed OLD foil). Remember….the Tarsacci does NOT hit hard on irregular pieces of foil, UNLESS it’s wadded up solid! Get used to the sound of foil if you aren’t already! This will also be good training in All Metal Analog which I believe you were working in before. HH! Aaron
