  1. Is that a broken gold ring and if so what did it read? Congrats!šŸ‘ Aaron
  2. Thanks Chuck, I know my videos arenā€™t that great, but their just meant to be informative & instructional. Best advice I can give Chuck is,,,donā€™t give up, to keep on talking and get others to talk about it. Dimitars reasoning is simply: ā€œif thereā€™s not enough demand for it, thereā€™s no justification for the expensive R&D.ā€ Thanks Aaron
  3. Hey Chuck, Iā€™d love to see a smaller coil too! However in a recent discussion w Dimitar, a smaller coil is just not on the top of his priority list. He would have to see a SIGNIFICANT demand for it to justify cost of the R&D, especially from the TARSACCI users in the UK and Eastern Europe who are still finding the stock and BEAST coils are still doing a great job of finding relics amidst ancient ironā€¦.. HH! Aaron
  4. Yes correct. Not sure if I mentioned it in the video but there is no ā€œwrap aroundā€ into the low conductors even if you set the notch at +30. Meaning you donā€™t have worry about losing small gold by eliminating iron wrap around. However, I think I did make my point with the hammered cut 1/4. HH! Aaron
  5. You definitely want to to take the time to find how various targets respond to the 4 different frequencies & other variables in settings. Hereā€™s one exampleā€¦.. HH! Aaron
  6. I continue to have a lot of questions on the salinity balance and how to use it. This is one example using it to cancel out small foil while still finding small gold in the 1-5 VDI range. Aaron
  7. Very nice Eagle button, especially in that hot dirt!šŸ‘ Aaron
  8. Yes thatā€™s true, the amount epoxy varies on each BEAST coil. My personal one isnā€™t really over filled. The coil though, is not perfectly round being 11 3/4ā€ from top to heel and 12ā€ wide. So even if it did fit, youā€™d still be getting all kinds of dirt and sand coming in at the top and heel. Not cool. Aaron
  9. Itā€™s not meant to be sarcastic. If anyone could provide a answer it Dimitar, heā€™s always available and only a phone call away. That would have been the first thing I would have done if I was having problems, especially after buying the big coil. Aaron
  10. Your still having this problem and havenā€™t called Dimitar yet??? šŸ¤” Aaron https://forums.tarsaccisales.com/forum/18
  11. Hey Jim, Iā€™m the same way with learning, always looking for ways to imbed things into my mind. Iā€™m a visual type person. Maybe you watched my video on setting the salinity balance. I used a card showing all the frequencies and a good ballpark salinity balance setting. I used to carry it with me until it was locked in my memory. That was the only thing I needed, the rest is pretty easy. The TARSACCI is a lot easier to run than you think. I think I told you on the phone or someone else, the TARSACCI controls and settings are about as easy as youā€™ll find. Thereā€™s no sub menus and dozens of different settings that have you left wondering if your setting it up wrong. The most challenging part of learning the TARSACCI was its audio language, and like I tell everyone, after around 20hrs, I was good to go. From what Iā€™m seeing, itā€™s the relic hunters who hunt in iron (especially those in the UK) who catch on to the TARSACCI the quickest. Also, people who have pulse induction experience. Those of us who started using the machine 2yrs ago had more difficult time as there were very few users and very little info and the videos that were posted werenā€™t much help either! HH! 12. I personally use disc mode most of the time for dirt hunting, however mixed mode is really good for target sizing and easy to toggle back and for between disc. I have also discovered that mixed mode seems to be better for me for water hunting especially in iron as I find Iā€™m getting more audio intelligence. Aaron
  13. Iā€™m glad somebody finally noticed this.....šŸ‘ Aaron
  14. There are TARSACCI users in Lake Tahoe with black sand and other Northern California black sand salt beachā€™s that are using the TARSACCI with great success. One really good example is from one of our users in New Zealand with a very HOSTILE black sand environment. Check the link.... https://forums.tarsaccisales.com/forum/1/hello-nz Aaron
  15. Hey Chuck, Thats correct, once the pigtail is connected the speaker is deactivated. Donā€™t worry about dirt or dust getting in the M8 connector, you can always flush it out with some water. Itā€™s IP68 waterproof. šŸ˜ŠšŸ‘ Aaron
  16. Dave, Very nice write upšŸ‘ Have you tried just running the cable along side of the rod instead of wrapping it around? Note my pictures, I have the cable wrapped once around the bottom and once around the top and the pin is in the bottom hole. You donā€™t even need to wrap it around the top, however I would at the bottom (so I have cable to spare). Also note that the rods do NOT need the spring pins to go into the holes for them to fasten. The locks work great without the springs. The locks are also adjustable by simply turning the handles. So you can still squeak out around another inch that way.... Aaron
  17. Yes, thatā€™s correct. When the TRACKING is activated your GB number will NOT change, however be assured, it IS TRACKING. Thanks. Aaron
  18. Many folks have inquired just how does tracking work and how do you set it? Hereā€™s a quick video that explains everything! Aaron
  19. Thatā€™s great to hear Chuck, Iā€™m really glad to hear that!šŸ‘ I hope your able to get some time in on the unit before it gets to hot down there! šŸ„µ Aaron
  20. I ended up getting out in the lake last weekend & finding another really deep Buffalo with co-located iron. Not too much else, people wonā€™t start swimming till the end of May. I stick to the iron areas that most avoid, going slow. Thanks, Aaron
  21. Glad to hear you got it Chuck, looking forward to your first report. Give me a holler if you need some help. Aaron
  22. Thanks Paul, much appreciated. Yes agreed on the 18khz, I find itā€™s really deep and is a good unmasker in iron. I try 6.4 however for some reason I tend to gravitate back to 18. I like the audio better especially in trash. I would definitely advise 18khz in trashy areas, especially IRON and for small gold which I really did well with last year. The machine is definitely using more power in 6.4 as the batteries (according to the manual) last half as long (20hrs). I know in 18 my batteries are going way past 30.... Iā€™m trying to use mixed mode more, especially for sizing targets, just gotta get the ears for it..... Aaron
  23. Agreed Paul. Those tiny silver hammered coins are definitely low conductors and generally ring up in the smaller gold area around 4. They are literally paper thin. Hereā€™s a video I did last summer using one of the smallest and thinnest coins ever, a hammered English farthing. Aaron
