Is that a broken gold ring and if so what did it read?
Congrats!š

Thanks Chuck, I know my videos arenāt that great, but their just meant to be informative &Ā instructional.
Best advice I can give Chuck is,,,donāt give up,Ā to keep on talking and get others to talk about it. Dimitars reasoning is simply: āif thereās not enoughĀ demand for it, thereās no justification for the expensive R&D.āĀ
ĀThanks

Hey Chuck,
Iād love to see a smaller coil too! However in a recent discussion w Dimitar, a smaller coil is just not on the top of his priority list. He would have to see a SIGNIFICANT demand for it to justify cost of the R&D, especially fromĀ the TARSACCI users in the UK and Eastern Europe who are still finding the stock and BEAST coils are still doing a great job of finding relics amidst ancient ironā¦..

Yes correct. Not sure if I mentioned it in the video but there is no āwrap aroundā into the low conductors evenĀ if youĀ set the notch at +30. Meaning you donāt have worry about losing small gold by eliminating iron wrap around.
However,Ā I think I did make my point with the hammered cut 1/4.Ā

You definitely want to to take the time to find how various targets respond to the 4 different frequencies & other variables in settings. Hereās one exampleā¦..

I continue to have a lot of questions on the salinity balance and how to use it. This is one example using it to cancel out small foil while still finding small gold in the 1-5 VDI range.

Very nice Eagle button, especially in that hot dirt!š

Doubtful.Ā Ā YouĀ really need a custom fit coil cover to ensure a snug design. Ā I believe The Beast coil assembly overfills the epoxy so it actually protrudes beyond the coil mold channels a bit which has to be considered in the cover design and there is a lot of variability in coils that fall in theĀ 12ā class based on the fact that rarely are the dimensions of the coils exactly at 12ā with actual molds ranging from 11.5 to 12.5 inches from model to model while all are called 12ā coils, Ā they also may not be perfectly round,Ā and then there are small manufacturing tolerance variabilities associated within specific coil models. Ā You are rolling the dice by simply grabbing a āgenericā 12-inch cover without having it in hand to test the fit before you actually purchase it.
Yes thatās true, the amount epoxy varies on each BEAST coil. My personal one isnāt really over filled. The coil though, is not perfectly round being 11 3/4ā from top to heel and 12ā wide. So even if it did fit, youād still be getting all kinds of dirt and sand coming in at the top and heel. Not cool.

Itās not meant to be sarcastic. If anyone could provide a answer it Dimitar, heās always available and only a phone call away. That would have been the first thing I would have done if I was having problems,Ā especially after buying the big coil.

Your still having this problem and havenāt called Dimitar yet??? š¤

Hey Jim,
Iām the same way with learning, always looking for ways to imbed things into my mind. Iām a visual type person. Maybe you watched my video on setting the salinity balance. I used a card showing all the frequencies and a good ballpark salinity balance setting.Ā I used to carry it with me until it was locked in my memory. ThatĀ was the only thing I needed, the rest is pretty easy. The TARSACCI is a lot easier to run than you think. I think I told you on the phone or someone else, the TARSACCI controls and settingsĀ are about as easy as youāllĀ find. Thereās no sub menus and dozens of different settings thatĀ have you left wondering if your setting it up wrong. The most challenging part of learning the TARSACCI was its audio language, and like I tell everyone, after around 20hrs, I was good to go. From what Iām seeing, itās the relic hunters who hunt in iron (especially those in the UK)Ā who catch on to the TARSACCI the quickest. Also, people who have pulse induction experience. Those of us who started using the machine 2yrs ago had more difficult time as there were very few users and very little info and the videos that were posted werenāt much help either!
HH!

I personally use disc mode most of the time for dirt hunting, however mixed mode is really good for target sizing and easy to toggle back and for between disc. I have also discovered that mixed mode seems to be better for me for water hunting especially in iron as I find Iām getting more audio intelligence.

There are TARSACCI users in Lake Tahoe with black sandĀ and other Northern California black sand salt beachās that are using theĀ TARSACCI with great success.Ā
One really good example is from one of our users in New Zealand with a very HOSTILE black sand environment. Check the link....Ā https://forums.tarsaccisales.com/forum/1/hello-nz

Hey Chuck,Ā
Thats correct, once the pigtail is connected the speaker is deactivated. Donāt worry about dirt or dust getting in the M8 connector,Ā you can always flush it out with some water. Itās IP68 waterproof. šš

Dave,
Very nice write upš
Have you tried just running the cable along side of the rod instead of wrapping it around? Note my pictures, I have the cable wrapped once around the bottom and once around the top and the pin is in the bottom hole. You donāt even need to wrap it around the top, however I would at the bottom (so I have cable to spare). Also note that the rods do NOT need the spring pins to go into the holes for them to fasten. The locks work great without the springs. The locks are also adjustable by simply turning the handles. So you can still squeak out around another inch that way....Ā

Yes, thatās correct. When the TRACKING is activated your GB number will NOT change, however be assured, it IS TRACKING.
Thanks.

Many folks have inquired just how does tracking work and how do youĀ set it?Ā

I had to go out of town yesterday and got back late today and had planned to take my Tarsacci with me but didnāt.
Ā I wanted to educate myself on going through the menu of my Tarsacci but could only watch your videos on how to do it .
Ā Well I pickup my Tarsacci and without looking at anything I ran through everything like Iād been doing it for a long time.
Ā I figure with your time and trouble making all the videos reduced my learning curve saving me lots of time.
Ā The speaker on the Tarsacci donāt boom out but with the headphones on they blow the wax out of your ears.
Ā Thanks Aaron !
Ā ChuckĀ
Thatās great to hear Chuck, Iām really glad to hear that!š I hope your able to get some time in on the unit before it gets to hot down there! š„µ

I ended up getting out in the lake last weekend &Ā finding another really deep Buffalo with co-located iron. Not too much else, people wonāt start swimming till the end of May. I stick to the iron areas that most avoid, going slow.
Thanks,Aaron

Glad to hear you got it Chuck, looking forward to your first report. Give me a holler if you need some help.

Thanks Paul, much appreciated. Yes agreed on the 18khz, I find itās really deep and is a goodĀ unmasker in iron. I try 6.4 however for some reason I tend toĀ gravitate back to 18. I like the audio better especially in trash. I would definitely advise 18khz in trashy areas, especially IRON and for small gold which I really did well with last year. The machine is definitely using more power in 6.4 as the batteries (according to the manual) last half as long (20hrs). I know in 18 my batteries are going way past 30....
Iām trying to use mixed mode more, especially for sizing targets, just gotta get the ears for it.....
