  1. No, the depth will not be the same, especially with the 12ā€ BEAST coil. Even in fresh water & low mineralization dirt. Aaron
  2. The videos Iā€™ve usually done are usually geared towards instructional, how to operate the TARSACCI, not ā€œlook what Iā€™m findingā€. Agreed on the audio language Paul, thatā€™s the toughest part of the TARSACCI. Iā€™ve got a new audio system worked out that should further help and speed up the learning process enabling the viewer hear what Iā€™m hearing.....BETTER, and even in the lake! Thanks! Aaron
  3. Glad you finally got to scratch that itch Sir! Looking forward to helping run your new machine Chuck! HH! Aaron
  4. For beginning users, this video will help you learn navigation of your MDT instrument panel quick. HH! Aaron
  5. I have a couple examples on video of the BEAST coils ability to see multiple targets at the same time.... Aaron
  6. Thank you. The good stuff is very rare in my old hunting spots. I know itā€™s there, however wether Iā€™m hunting in the lake or in the dirt youā€™ll generally find me amongst the iron and trash, areas most hunters avoid, thatā€™s were the last of the good stuff is. By hunting in trash youā€™ll also learn a lot more about your machine (any machine) as youā€™ll be digging A LOT more targets, co-located w iron and aluminum. In my videos Iā€™m emphasizing a more educational approach, how to use the TARSACCI, not so much,,,ā€ look what I foundā€ type of video. Making videos is not fun, especially when your trying to do them right. Editing is even harder especially when you have 2hours of video that needs to be condensed down to 15min, very time consuming.......šŸ„“ HH! Aaron
  7. Itā€™s uncanny how well that big BEAST coil separates in high trash isnā€™t it? Especially with multiple targets under the coil at the same time! I canā€™t imagine how more DEADLY a small coil would be..... Aaron
  8. Yeah, itā€™s real world Sir. Iā€™ve left that lake w as many as 3 gold rings in one day and other days w hardly any clad at all. Glad Iā€™m not doing this for the money.... Thanks! Aaron
  9. Okay....I was able to retrieve the video after all! The Buffalo was the only good thing found however itā€™s the best one Iā€™ve ever found. Iā€™d like note that in the video I referred to the hairpins as ā€œBRASSā€, they are actually SPRING STEEL. Thanks NASA Tom. Aaron
  10. Iā€™m not sure about stability however from what Iā€™m seeing and feedback Iā€™m getting the 12ā€ BEAST coil seems to be better at separation in trash than the stock coil.... Aaron
  11. Relic hunting in my old 1850ā€™s military site, not much found, lots of modern trash and clad. I did manage to dig a big piece of iron just to get it out of the way and glad I did. Happened to be this old straight edge shaving razor from the mid to later 1800ā€™s. Look close and you can see the brass hinge for the long gone wood guard. Checkout the link for more pics.... https://forums.tarsaccisales.com/forum/4/glad-i-dug-big-piece-iron Aaron
  12. Yes sir! Never had a Buffalo w nicer date, notice the ā€œFā€? Not sure on the water temp, however I could feel it through the waders! Thanks! Aaron
  13. I made it out in the lake for the first time yesterday this year. Also fist lake hunt w the BEAST coil. I had it on video but unfortunately lost it in the attempt to free up space in my CRAPPY iPhone! This lake is often POUNDED by the locals and finding anything in the off season is DIFFICULT. However I managed to find a BEAUTIFUL 1936 BUFFALO! Iā€™ve found Buffaloā€™s here before but not in this great of shape, as it was probably lost not long after it was minted. It was down around 10ā€, and mixed w iron. Lots of iron in this old lake. Aaron UPDATE.... thanks to my daughter, LOL I have recovered the video to this hunt and will edit it back together.....soon.
  14. Great finds and congrats!šŸ‘ I like your settings, looks like your working in hot ground by your GB. If youā€™ve gone over the site in 18khz, try 6.4 next. If you encounter EMI w the lower kHz try this: After you reground balance, add 20 points to the GB, and activating BLACK SAND and -1 Threshold. If your in heavy iron dont be afraid use lower or low gain, youā€™ll be at surprised the performance. HH! Aaron
  15. NICE! I found one in the water years ago, and it happened to be a double-strike! however itā€™s still only worth a $1šŸ„“ Something tells me it will be making a appearance in the US Coin videos Iā€™m doing...
  16. Chuck, As with any machine and itā€™s stock coil (with which it is calibrated too), those pinpoint/depth numbers are going to change with a a lot bigger coil, as is the case with the with the new BEAST coil. I only just did my first dig yesterday, soooo....give me awhile, Iā€™ll figure the BEAST coils pinpoint/depth numbers and post those too....šŸ˜‰ THX HH! Aaron
  17. Managed to get out today despite the wind & cold w the new BEAST coil. The coil works usually good in trashy areas, unmasking as demonstrated on a deep wheat penny. Warmer weather and more hunting this weekend... HH! Aaron
  18. I had explained the TARSACCI target depth in relation to the VDI numbers when doing my field test videos with the BEAST coil. However, because of the considerable depth gained with the BEAST coil, these VDI numbers are not the same with the stock 11x9ā€ coil. Iā€™ve posted the stock coil figures on TARSACCI Forums somewhere. I suggest my first BEAST coil video, and especially the head to head videos with the stock coil..... Aaron
  19. There are no exposed wiring in the TARSACCIā€™s battery compartment nor inside the handle beneath the control box. Aaron
  20. Chuck, The O-rings are going to last a LONG time if you maintain them properly. Please check out this video I made last summer that also contains a lot of other useful tips. Also check out the link at the TARSACCI forum for other users tips on this topic.....https://forums.tarsaccisales.com/forum/15 HH! Aaron
  21. Chuck, I didnā€™t notice till after I did the videos I forgot to scan both gold coins. Regarding the before and after numbers, ,hmmm good question. If you saw my latest VDI US Coin video, I noted the $1 gold is 6, same as the clad nickel, and the $5 gold is 12. However I had to go back down and re-test both coins under the Keithā€™s hot brick for those numbers which varies. Whenever your trying to detect through heavy minerals your generally not concerned w VDI so much as ā€œsoundā€ and hot ground is always going to mess up the VDI numbers. So that being said the $1 gold coin jumps around but averages in the lows 20ā€™s under the hot brick and the $5 gold coin averages in the single digits around 8 under the hot brick. Thanks, Aaron
