  1. Yeah I have photos of the z search on gumtree. The x coil I’m not fussed if I sell it. I mostly use the 10 inch now. JP it’s not faulty the area has bad emi the minelab struggles to.
  2. My experience was different than yours, my x coil outperformed it and that’s why I’m selling it. Seems no one wants them in Australia I haven’t got any enquires about it.
  3. Hang on I was just giving my experience with the z search coil and j.p had a subtle dig at my detecting ability. As I stated before the emi was bad on the z search and it couldn’t pick up any extra gold on patches I have been to before and the x coils have. I’m just trying to explain to people to not get there hopes up with the z search because in my experience it’s identical the stock 14 obviously better because it’s lighter.
  4. Oh ok fair enough well hopefully someone gets good use out of it
  5. Oh well anyone interested in buying a z search coil pick up in vic $1150
  6. If the z search coil is so good why would I sell it??? The truth is x coils have worked wonders for me, thought I would give the z search a go and in my opinion it falls short, note also all the gold found in that picture was ground that had been worked with both the minelab 14 and 19 inch coils
  7. Should also note the only advantage I found Over the stock coil was the weight but I would rather put up with the extra weight than fork out $1290 for pretty much the exact same thing
  8. Sorry to inform you rob but in my opinion the z search is not a winner, I have just put mine up for sale, it doesn’t even compare with x coil performance, I took the z search out to a patch which I had previously worked with the minelab coil and couldn’t pick up anything not to mention the emi was really bad on it, the next day I went back with my 10 inch x coil and picked up nearly a gram of flyshit gold on the exact ground.
  9. Thanks, can’t wait to get out again
  10. Some recent finds with the 10 inch x coil
  11. Picked up my 10 inch x coil during the week, good to get out to my usual spot, picked up these in 2 hours detecting, really impressed with this coil.
  12. Yeah it looks nice but it’s really thin
  13. Good weather on the long weekend, picked up these from my usual spot with the 17x12
  14. was good to get out to the golden triangle again after lockdown, picked up these
  15. Norvic no i got one made up for me, yeah I’m thinking about maybe getting the 10 inch as well, how have you found that?
  16. It’s the 17 x 12, I found this a few months ago as well,
  17. Hey mate I got the scales from prospectors patch, I think there based in WA
  18. Yeah there good scales I bought them online from a store in Australia, I’ll see if I can find the site, I only post these finds so people get an accurate review of the x-coils, Since getting it I have had nothing but good results and I’m a amateur prospector, looking forward to see how the new nuggetfinder coils perform in comparison.
  19. More gold found in the hot grounds in the golden triangle with x coil, ferrite balanced fine and made no more noise the the minelab coil!!!
  20. I can’t stand reading your biased posts anymore jp, your the only one reporting these so called problems with x coils, I have the 17x12 elliptical on my gpz and its so much better than the minelab coils, all my gold has been found in hot ground that I have been over with the mine lab coils!! I have found this in my first 4 trips out with it
