  1. Wow I didn't realize it was that sensitive to gold that small... Looks like I got a lot of learning to do... I've put at least 30hrs on this machine in 5 days and although its getting easier its getting challenging and that's the part I'm loving... Nice gold by the way...
  2. Learning how to use it is like learning how a new language... Any tips would be awesomely appreciated... I live in n.Cali and the ground here is real hot (MD lingo) and I'm having a hard time keeping it balanced and I don't know if that's common for these machines... I'm wondering if coil change might help me ... It has the size up from the smallest one... They say that if u can learn how to use a GB2 u can learn anything...
  3. Found this little 1.4 grainer today ...second with with my goldbug2.. Got a good deal on it ..needed some cosmetics but only paid $300 for it 2days ago and found gold today...found a bunch of other stuff too...I might go in the square nail business or maybe hot rocks...lol lol lol But I'm happy and having a ball learning this machine...

  7. got my eye on a gold bug 2 ...i see other coils available for it ...my question is...how much more depth would I be able to get out of a bigger coil such as the 14"...and would I get the small stuff as well as the big stuff...and I plan on submerging the coil if I can on more than one occasion... thanks for any help...

  10. Last yr I found so many potential jewelry piece nuggets and had to sell them needing the $$ ...i wish I would have kept at least one... alot of nice pieces people bought from me while I was still in my wetsuit for double sometimes triple of their value...but that funded my mining equipt and food for my family so it was worth it... i have found in my travels that some people want what other people will talk about... yeah if I found that big of a nugget...SOLD!!! LOL
