Not the point.Minelab should not of released the 6 till it sorted out the bugs and at least checked the products.I'm not on Minelabs payroll.Why should I have to do the quality test for them.Wasting our time seems to be a sport of Minelabs.Looks like the expression time is money only refers to them.

Nice essay,but if you payed $8,000 for a state of the art detector and get a box full of faulty cheap plastic rubbish,yeh i'm gunna shout from the roof tops.Just waiting to see how the Garret Axiom pans out.If its a goer i'm jumping ship.

I'm hearing you mate.Its like they just don't care and they don't.If I was selling this junk I would be cringing,not making out that everyone is overstating the problem.

Codds wollop to that.So if someone disagrees with your assessment of the situation they're voiciferous.He's right on the money.For my $8000 dollars ive had nothing but trouble.Its ok to say that minelab will fix this but then your without your equipment for 2 to 3 weeks while they fix their mistakes.I had to buy another battery because i would be without it for a extended period while they make sure im not lying about said problem.$8000 to have my time and money wasted.It is as bad as its being made out and its about time someone stood up for the customer.

I agree with that statement.To me if I or anyone else on this forum bought a top of the range car and had the amount of problems as i've had with this detector and all the add ons that go with it they would be crying blue murder.Its fine to say Minelab stand by their products but do they really.The quality of this stuff is 2 dollar shop standard and at no point have Minelab come out and admitted that they dropped the ball and made some serious mistakes.Sadly its just another faceless money grinder.To hell with quality.This is not a dig at the power of the 6000,but the lack of respect for their returning customers.They know we'll come and buy because they have no other competition as far as the serious detectorist is concerned.The trouble starts there no competition, pretty well a monopoly and with most monopolized situations the rot sets in.

Gotta agree J.P. the 6000 is an amazing detector but its quality control is atrocious.I've had to return 2 11in coils,the 17in lasted 5 minutes as well as 2 batteries and the detector had to go back as well.But despite all that its finding lots of gold.

Lets hope the 14x9 is the first cab off rank.

Bugger all the comparisons.The x6 is a class machine i got a 1g at 13in just a slight signal but enough to pull you up. The x6 is the only detector you need it's finding all size gold at unreal depths.The big gold will appear when the 17 in is available.

It really is what they claim.It's a magic wand

There was a video up from the middle east that had the 6 turned on but they took it down pretty quick.The target noise was a very clear crisp higher pitched gpx target sound.

Me as quick as i can get my hands on one😀
