  1. Dang thats frustrating. Some people have nothing better to do. Do you get into the water with the MDT? Thats where I end up spending most of my time. Cheers! -Kerry
  2. What a great few days of recoveries, congrats! The MDT is hard to beat at a Salt beach IMO. Are the (spanish?) Cobs real? -Kerry
  3. Awesome chain Dew...quite the recovery! How did it sound on the MDT?
  4. Yeah that makes a ton of sense. At one point I was using zip ties in a similar fashion, but I like your idea of using SS wire better. I appreciate the insight! I can't tell you how many times I lost or couldn't locate a target that I knew was there! Cheers! -Kerry
  5. Great finds Dew! Do you have any guidance to recovering those tiny targets as they threaten to slip through the larger scoop holes? I sometimes struggle with the same thing. It can be maddening if you can't see it and aren't close enough to shore to dump the scoop on the sand. Do you use a floating net, or some other method? Love seeing the recoveries, keep em coming! -Kerry
  6. Way to go Iain! Id love to get to the UK someday as well. 😃
  7. Ouch, that's got to hurt! Good for you for sticking it out and hunting anyway. It seems to have paid off. Well done. -Kerry
  8. Lots of great colonial saves there...and congrats on all of the success today! Is that a turtle you dug? -Kerry
  9. Awesome! That must have been a bangin tone! -Kerry
  10. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to getting mine as well!
  11. That's an awesome find Dew! I've never seen one of those found before...in or out of the sand. =]
  12. I'd be willing to send my machine in to be upgraded as well. It would be worth it in my opinion.
  13. Thank you so much for the video, it was very helpful. As much as I love reading manuals, its sometimes nice to have a visual to pair with it. =] -Kerry
  14. Hey guys, Forgive me if this has already been answered, but where would the new battery pack (in the original post) sit in the machine? Would it need to be put into one of the battery trays, or does it just kind of sit loosely in the battery compartment? If the latter is the case, is there a way to pad the batteries so they don't rattle around? Thanks! -Kerry
